When will we be able to play single against AI Marines and/or Predator. Also, will there ever be a single campaign mode?

Make a custom game and set AI hp to 9000% theres your AI mode. All an AI pred is going to do is get stuck on corners.

Bad is not the right world. They are weak and not challenging opposition. Distractors at best. 4 Stargazer AI should be a good challenge to 4 FTs. Then it will be ‘good’ AI

No the AI is definitely bad. Lol. They spawn right on top of you and just stand there while you shoot them in the face.

I guess, it’s hard enough to make a challenging to face one opponent, but it has to face 4 + pred. I wonder how it would be if Stargazer was controlled by players. Either many if them with reduced stats or maybe if each player could control a unit like in RTS (i don’t see players excited to play either option, plus queue times would be forever). Maybe gauntlet will have this option.

I don’t really need them to be that challenging. Just not stupid so it doesn’t make everything seem so silly/annoying when they just pop up on top of you

Agreed. It just seems like it’s the least important issue. Just make them swarm and call it a day. It’s a side note in Pred vs FT

There is leaked video of “lone wolf” mode where you, as Predator have objectives to complete against swarms of AI. Being that it was simply test footage, it didn’t look impressive. Just simply a mission like the FT’s, but with Predator instead. Hopefully there will be improvements and variations as it was only 2 videos thus far.

In the meantime, you cannset up custom private matches making the AI much harder to defeat to hone your skills. Just remember that this AI is never going to be as creative and enjoyable to play against than actual people.

My hope is to see a 5v5v2 mode with 2 preds, a 5 person FT and a 5 person Stargazer team. Or a 5v5v3 where one of the Predators is a Bad Blood.

Or perhaps a Bad Blood mode, featuring 2 regular preds going up against a larger, stronger bad blood pred.

All these w/ human teams having limited lives trying to sabotage eachothers objectives while preds are running around hunting them or teaming idc.
Pred has to recover gear from team stargazer, neutral to FT, hostile to both, hostile to other preds, however the match goes.

Players have way more potential than AI and aren’t monotonous.

I’m pretty sure it’s agreed that the AI needs some major reworking in general. They often seem either not smart enough or are unrealistically smart. Like seeing a cloaked pred or spawning unnaturally close. But even if they did fix the current AI, I don’t think we should ever have an AI pred. The whole point behind them is that they are hunting you. They are smart and make plans. A good pred player feels like they are one step ahead of you. You can’t recreate that with AI, at least not very well.

Though if they really are making a pred campaign I’d be interested in seeing that! As long as it comes with an AI upgrade lol.
