oh i read that wrong, sorry. I thought it said for “making” predator be permanently removed. I was super confused.

The only reason i still have strong feelings for this game is becaus of the Predator in it :-)

A few pointers which may improve your experience:

Don’t always use cloak. Sometimes I just hang out in the trees or bushes without cloak. FT is looking for the cloak, natural camouflage often works better.

Don’t always use trees. FT spots movement in the trees because of the leaves that fall down.

Try using leap instead of walking. Walking makes a lot of noise, leaping does not.

And finally, when it says “spotted” turn off your cloak and vision mode for a few seconds. Might as well get some energy back, eh?

Respectfully, you’re wrong. You haven’t even tried adapting to it. You just have a gut feeling that it’s what’s causing your losses but it’s not just one thing. There were a lot of things in this game which I felt were unbalanced until I gained more experience as Predator.

I completely agree.
Spotting is a huge turn off, especially when it’s just spammed at random.
It has no cost, it has no cooldown, it’s actually something that deserves to be removed.
BUT, I would limit it to only one class OR make a 15 second CD/ FT member.

i can understand to remove the pred outline an just leave the eye icon on screen to give a general direction but then i propose as a trade off also remove target isolation as it it is the preds spotting mechanic

Completely? No. Maybe it could use some tweaks, sure. As a Predator when I’m spotted I leave and immediately come back from somewhere else. Doesn’t waste a lot of time, and throws them off.

A Predator should never be out in the open, and if you’re spotted you shouldn’t just linger in the same spot because you’ve been spotted, lol. I don’t understand how people get spotted so much or have such a big issue with being spotted.

The idea being presented that there should be a time limit fits perfectly, just like how the predator can scan. It is timed you can’t use it 24/7 making it unfair, especially when your a scout predator the time to kill is particularly fast when you have no health. It would be fair for all. Or even the idea presented making it class oriented.

I don’t mind the idea of a time limit or some other limitation, but I don’t think removing it completely would make the game more fun for anyone. Plus how long does a spot last? 2 seconds? It makes the predator reposition for fear of getting destroyed. That’s all. There are ways around it. Try some of those tips I posted above.

tbh… i never use it. Ican locate FT just by gunfire, within seconds
