Here and there some nice, meaningful song pops up when it comes to mainstream music.

The best was in the 80’s by far. The 90’s had good music as well, but not as good. Almost everything after that was and has been fucking trash, with some exceptions, but EVERY decade has had some exceptions

I like stuff from the 80’s to now and since I mostly like extreme technical metal genre’s, which have only got better with time, I have no issue with the music I listen that’s recently released.

there’s a lot of shit music today, for sure, but do you really think it wasn’t like that during the 80’s? It was exactly like that, but Today you will only find the stuff that endured, the good stuff, that’s why you get the false impression that the music was better back then.

I can name you 100 bands that sucked so much during the 80’s and you probably won’t even recognize one of them.
