Who to contact about lost and/or bugged items and menus...

So, I had a couple things to ask the community here, (and hopefully any devs that might be watching.)

First off, I pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition the day before release, and ever since day one I haven’t been able to get rid of the Orange hash marker on the Epic Exclusive paint tab (Predator only) in the customization menu.

(Maybe I’m just stupid, but the menus confuse the heck out of me. Quite clunky sometimes, and hard to navigate. I feel like there may be something I’m missing, but I’m not sure what.)

Second, I’m really enjoying this game as-is, (and it’s improved quite nicely) but I remembered why I stopped playing this title for a while.

In the beginning the optimization was quite poor for my setup, but that has been addressed for the most part, and I’m seeing about a 20 - 30+ increase in FPS with the same exact setup, so I’m glad that’s been addressed.

The other reason (pls don’t hate on me for the controversial subject) that I stopped playing was that I never received the coveted Jungle Hunter '87 skin, or Ol Painless.

I pre-ordered the game the day before it came out (the 23rd) while I was at a friends house for an annual get-together, well before midnight (which is when I assume the pre-order bonus offer expired) and I woke up the next day expecting to play with the classic Pred that we all know and love to hunt lol.

Well, I was needless to say very disappointed, but between the various technical difficulties of the game, the other titles I had in my library at the time, and just plain forgetfulness, I never emailed illfonic about the issue.

But since the whole coronavirus thing has been going on, I had more than enough time to start going through old games, found this one gathering dust, and decided to give it a shot…and I’m glad I did!

Anyhoo, sorry for the lengthy post, but I wanted to combine expressing my thanks, and a call for some help in the same post.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

(P.S. I’m not looking to start a fight, or launch another petition about giving us an '87 Predator DLC. Pls don’t harrass the devs about it. Thank you. :)

Yeah, like I said there was a lot going on at the time, and I just forgot because of all the stuff going on…but I did forget to ask about it first thing, so it’s sort of my fault as well. :/

lol thanks man, I’m new here, but I did see some pretty hair-raising fights about the Skin…seemed like a sensitive topic lol.

I just want to get a bit of help with the issue, if it’s not too late.

Oh yeah, do you have any idea about the orange mark in the menu? I’m OCD like that, and it’s bugging the heck out of me lol.

I play on PS4, so I don’t have any experience with the PC mumbo jumbo for P:HG.

If this is on epic games you have to contact them, Illfonic can’t do anything about that. They can’t control the stores

Ohhh, I see. Hadn’t thought of that, but then again, since it wasn’t listed as an “Epic Exclusive,” (just a pre-order bonus), I assumed the dudes at illfonic would be the guys to talk to.

Already been talking to the guys at Epic Games about the problem, and they’ve been trying to help, but nothing has worked so far. Hoping I can get to the bottom of this problem soon.

The game is super fun to play now though, and I’ve been wrecking a lot more than I thought I would be. Just went on a 9 win streak against full squads with the Berserker, and whooo boy, that class is almost too OP. (Listening to the voice chat is almost as entertaining as wiping a squad too XD)

Pair the Elder Sword with the Combi Stick and add Fearless and Impenetrable as perks…

Game over man…game ove-

Yeah you should have it. Not gonna bash you on that. I’d definitely contact illfonic and/or Epic about it with the receipts.

OKH and Courier might be able to help but I’ve noticed they’ve been very very busy as of late (which i believe is a very good sign regarding the next update). Best of luck to you and I hope it gets sorted out. Happy hunting
