As for Chief vs Doom guy though, mc has a way better arsenal trained to use it in the art of war since he was like 15 & doomguy just has a normal human reaction time and what no feats other than brute strength? The flood are way worse for the universe than doom demons because they assimilate everything including technology and weapons with just spores. Flood would takeover hell in a day

Still, chief could be well adjusted to every weapon in the universe, my moneyâs on doom guy ripping off chiefs buttcheeks and clapping them together in front of him.
Goro could do the same but lets be srs goro would never reach chief & his weapons are like ages ahead of earth realm and hes incapable of missing. Anything the earthrealm combatants could do Chief could do better.
Youâd have to take away chiefâs arsenal & any tactics and turn it into a barehanded cage match. Actual threats to him are the gods that can magic his guns away but he can still throw things with perfect lethal precision, he doesnt tear things apart because he doesnt have to he generates enough force behind his punches to just shatter spines, rip and tear is mathmatically inefficent. A lot of the roster chief COULD technically take out with a well placed rock to the forehead if you take away his grenades. Youâre basically pitting them against a computer that cannot miss.

For one thing the spartans strength does not represent theyâre durability. Theyâre glass canons and even then ever heard of the Spartan that carried on his a mission with his guts literally being burnt and not even feeling it?
Theyâre easy to kill but are really strong themselves. Like real life. A body builder is still going to die to a gunshot but they could still kill you with theyâre bare hands.
As for the MK roster it depends on how the continuity works. From what I seen theyâre ability to survive fatal blows is pure gameplay based on MK cutscenes and MK legends.
Not to mention Spartans have extremely fast reaction speeds. Even in the games everything is slowed down. Yes gun shots are slowdown thatâs why you can literally dodge plasma being shot at you.
Plus when does the MK roster have shielded armor?

I think book tie-ins in general are usually awful and I really like Eric Nylunds Halo stuff. Unless the game is based on the book like Witcher, its either never referenced or later written out of existence when it matters. Opposite of that though, Shadow of War is fun but nobody considers it canon to Tolkien.
Halo is one of the few Iâd consider an exception, (& Destiny, Elder Scrolls and the like) because they actively try to clear up inconsistencies in the lore. Otherwise its easier to just limit stuff to book canon, movie canon, and game canon individually especially since most things are written by different people with unlimited creative control.
So yeah I agree MC beats doomguy, vs magic is something else entirely though
