Tomorrow is the release of killer of killers. Ive said my peace on my issues with disney predator so wont ho there but i will say this one has me a lil more interested then badlands. What say you?

Who feels like they have been takin in the badlands feedback as possible changes to be made before release? Most likely wishful thinking, but if disney wants to succeed like in thier hay day then one would think they would listen. After all theyve managed to piss off every fanbase of every franchise they now own lol.

I don’t know how they will deliver any better than a glorified The Predator 2018 because there ain’t anything like a live action horror except The Predator came off as a raunchy comedy with goofy CGI monsters. Doubt an animated thing is going to satisfy. Terminator Zero was cringy as fuck.

Its just going to feel like a video game cinematic except an hour and half long. Not that there is anything wrong with it, but it would send fantasy vibes rather than “legit” practical effects driven horror which the franchise is based on. Its not going to hit any home runs.
Im still betting Badlands itself won’t send shivers up your spine unless they hint at a true crossover event and an Arnold thing (don’t ask me what i mean by that because its practically too late for Dutch 2025 to emerge out of nowhere, I mean we are in 2025 but what that means is up in the air, if it doesnt happen its truely the biggest wasted opportunity that was predicted since PHG came out).

imagine if you will “the anime drama to hit japan with Kawaii children and an AI fairy right out of Pokemon that made Studio gimbly the drama queen everyone remembers with all their heart warming characters” mixed with “the terminator endo skeleton”…therefore you must watch it because you never seen it before in your life!

That is until MassImpact124 tells you the first quote will make you cringe because its overt drama that carries on for a minute too long with every piece of dialogue and the second quote is pretty much a tattoo on that cringe.

But to be fair, it comes out tomorrow. I’ll probably view it. I’ll probably have an opnion about it. But I’m in no rush.
