Just like somebody said: the game was fine but they fucked it up. We have given feedback for over a year and they haven’t done anything about it. I don’t know what platform are you using. I use PS4 Pro and I get terrible frames drop, specially on Excavation (day time… and by the way: I absolutely hate night maps and that is what I get the most, like 70% of the times). This frames drop issue along with an audio issue and many other little things have been reported MANY times since long ago and they did NOTHING about it. That’s why people (myself included) bitch about it, because we tried supporting the game by purchasing stupid DLC’s, and we got shit in the end.
Oh! And the maps thing… They chose to give us Excavation (shit map) and that damn piece of crap Headquarters that I absolutely hate with all my soul… They did that instead of making the City map that everybody asked for.

illfonic is a small time company trying to make Big Name Games, After playing Friday the 13th, i pretty much new what i was getting into when i bought Predator over 2 years ago. I had some of the same let downs everyone has experienced., and i agree with what 90% of people are bitching about. but if i ask my self honestly, i should’ve known. Illfonic made their cash and their ready to dump this game, they got their new cash cow ghostbusters, i’m sure the day is coming where they abandon this game completely. It happened with Friday the 13th, they just conveniently pinned it on a lawsuit which i’m convinced had nothing to do with the game.
illfonic is biting off more then they can chew, but for some reason they are getting the big name licenses. seriously the best thing we could do is figure out which franchise we want to see a game of next and plead with a better company to make the game.
however much i shit talk illfonic, doesn’t change the fact that they are making the games i want to play, they just suck at it.
Hell, ghost busters looks like alot of fun, but i’ve learned my lesson, so i’m not picking it up until its either dirt cheap, or the next free game on PSN
I just see all the bitching as a waste of energy personally. i’m gonna still play their train wreck games, because i admittedly still have fun playing them, i’ve just let reality sink in and let the Hope Die that illfonic will ever do anything truly great with these big name titles.
ON A SIDE BAR, does anyone remember gaming before the internet ruined it, when they had to finish a game before releasing it. where the majority of bugs got worked out and a game was complete when you purchased it, because they couldn’t fix fuck ups with a patch and their was no DLC. I miss those days

PHG is the first game I got from this shitty company, so I did complain a lot before. Now I also see it as a waste of time, but still, I complain every once in a while, as I paid for a product that I can no longer use accordingly or really enjoy (frames drop and audio bug have been for about a year and those are the ones that really bother me).
All I have left is talk shit about Illfonic and recommend the world not to purchase games from these guys. I do it every time I can.
Disregard my post and Bitch all you want, i recently tried playing with some friends, we couldn’t invite my psn friend because doing so would crash the game. and the friends i did play with we kept getting lobby bugs, my friend got a load out bug where he entered the match with no syringes equipped. I sincerely apologize for asking why people were complaining. I knew illfonic were crappy programmers, but i didn’t realize how badly they fucked up their game til i tried grouping up with some friends. So Fuck illfonic in their stupid asses.

We couldn’t even get that far, as soon as my PSN friend would accept the invite my game would crash, and it was only my PSN friend, my PC friends joined just fine. My other PC friends tried sending the invite as well, same thing, their game would crash.

I’m happy to see you’ve come around, but yeah, if you spent more time really digging in here through the spam and toxicity, you’d find the legit posts done by people here who, since day one, complied spreadsheets for bugs and glitches and exploits, and had videos of them and everything. Sent all of it to illfonic, several times. Nothing. Not a single thing. No fixes, no balance changes, and a bunch of spoon fed generic lies from OKH after he played Kick The Kass. We’ve all tried, mate. For getting close to three years, we all tried, really hard. Illfonic is just a horrible company.

to be fair bugs still existed back then it’s just they tended to be low impact or straight up beneficial to the player but at the very least games were complete back then
I remember back when I’d compile an active list of current bugs and new bugs introduced each patch, and then send it to the devs to help them fix it.

imagining making a shitty product and then being like BUT LOOK AT THE QUALITY OF THE CASE IT CAME IN.
Replace Predator with saquatch and suddenly you realize this game is bargain bin trash without brand recognition. Except PHG looks and plays like a PS2 game with more bugs than any PS2 title.
The only thing this game did right was cross team chat for toxicity.
Because they aren’t being “tasked” with this game. They’re contractors that know some guy with connections at Fox and it lets them peddle their bargain bin games. They just show up and pitch their crap. They never intended for this game to be a dedicated project. Its like making crappy movie tie in games.
Which sucks because then actual developers that know what they’re doing lose the opportunity for several crappy live service years because they’d be seen as “competition.” While illfonic puts out 3 masks in 6 months and claims they’re still supporting the game so they can write us off on taxes as a service lol.
Illfonic’s always been shady as dirt. Claiming they had all this F13 content ready except the lawsuit scared them out of it, despite the fact that didn’t stop that Jason puzzle game or stop the Switch port. Their contract ended and they bailed, Gun Media took over.
Their only other claims to fame are someone’s mod they repurposed into a game and called Dead Alliance, and before that - Illfonic being kicked off Star Citizen and all their work scrapped.
