Why are bots like this?

So after playing a match earlier where I made two of the members ragequit, I have an honest question…do the devs even play their own game? I started the match off, dispatching three of the FT members quite quickly and I purposely let the last one run away to go reinforce so I could repeat the same thing on them–but two of the members felt salty enough to quit, which replaced them with bots. Upon coming in the proximity of the revive zone while cloaked, both of the bots immediately blasted me almost into second wind and broke my 100% biomask in half a second and naturally I found myself screaming every profanity in the book, both in English and my native tongue. The rest of the match was just a hell all because the bots would act as barrier turrets whenever I entered the proximity, and so the only way to win was by first killing the bots with a smart disc while behind an object.

This bot situation is so bad that I’ve gotten to the point where I refuse to start a match while a bot is present, and I’ll either quit the match before it starts or wait until it’s a full team. To some degree, I find it insulting that they felt the need to implement bots when they’ve been shown to be terrible handlers of AI in not just PHG, but other games as well; I mean, just look at the AI soldiers…When the FT bots aren’t butchering preds in a blink of an eye, they’re doing this weird, scripted run animation at lightspeed toward either players or the next objective, making it impossible to snag them alone because they’ll all of a sudden turn into Goku and do instant transmission. And don’t worry, it gets worse…80% of the time when a player ragequits and gets replaced with a bot, the bot is INVISIBLE, not scan icon or anything, and you have to just poke around the map and wait until your health starts getting ripped apart immediately, and then start blasting the whole area with plasma caster until the bots kill claim icon pops up. When I run as Fireteam and have an AI on my team, I can really just stay next to the bot and predators who are less experienced can no longer even touch me so long as I stay close to my deathguard. All in all…wtf, Illfonic?

Bots are starting to get more dmg on pred than PS players!lmfao!

I mean, to be fair, the highest sensitivity for console is still batshit slow compared to a mongoloid PC player turning their mouse haywire all over the place.

Yeah, like most of the game, bots need work.
A top tho, take out the bots before you go after players.

Aside from the aim, players using them to come back can be a pain too.

I prefer to look at it as spastic and borderline autistic instead. Not to mention console users are inferior because PCs are too complicated for them.

In the sense that the game’s coding can easily be changed by PC players while it’s borderline impossible on console…just like DbD. 🤡

Bots have 100% aimbot powers programmed in, i think up to 30m or so. Even cloaked up close they can sometimes fire on you. But yeah, I hate them too. Last few games two guys quit out so I had two bots at respawn, the trick is to not engage them up close, always use range. Plasma spam the shit out of them, then do whatever after they’re done.

Well there you go. If you pretend you can jump in and smash the melee button like an idiot thinking you are invincible you deserve to be melted. For far too long main preds think they can continue to do this because it works against potatoes which is 90% of the matches. If you wanna use melee, you have to be clever and go for hit and run tactics.

The game is encrypted in a pak file. Even if you manage to decrypt it, you can’t change code and run the game because that would require recompiling the damn thing and for that you would need the source code which, as far as I know, has not been leaked.

Stop the bullshit of pc hackers. These ain’t the 90’s when PC players were able to enter code using console commands or editing text in an ini file.

This game will not even allow you to play in public matches if your game version is not up to date (meaning is different from others)

Every exploit available for PC can be done on console as well, albeit the methods to achieve them might differ
