no im not assuming everything is fine if you read the last part of the original post i asked if i was missing something and i was specifically talking about the people saying the predator was under powered. i have nothing but base gear and im not having a problem with killing FT so whats wrong with the predator?

I was under the impression (I only started playing yesterday) that the elder sword is better than the claw due to having more reach? It did feel like the damage is the same.

Right now there’s A knife parry meta going on. You’re probably not up there yet but I’ll see it. Also the fire has a lot of resources and got insta spot rather you are invisible and couched. Breaking up teams is a hell of a lot harder since you can only use the plasma gun and bear traps but if you manage to get a 1v1 don’t bother going melee cause the parry and knife do good cuck of damage to you. So you had to do a net gun slash combo or plasma shot. But now you can shoot and cut the net before it touches so you pretty much have to down the ft with plasma bolts majority of time

So now comes the berseker/combi stick to answer those problems cause he’s more of a tank and can kill ft like nothing with the combi stick. But that won’t last long cause the ft can paryy and body block and shank his ass to death. And now thats how this whole pred vs ft op or underpower argument started

Hmm that’ll be interesting once get to that level of play luckily i revel in the challenge here is hoping i find it in a good way and not in a negative way as i really do like the game and id hate to have it spoiled lol.

You do not have boat loads of health you do not do tons of damage except with the combistick or a full charged plasma accurate cast which both are super punishable and the ai alot of times works against you

I like it too. But my gripe is the ft has too many counters to the predator in the current state of the game. His weapons need adjustments and yes his combi is broken lol I’ll admit but. As for his bow i can’t really say on that one

He’ll know eventually once he’s up there. Give him time at least he’ll be prepared for it
