Why are people knocking the pred?

aha… it should not be that way, for start you are suppose to be stealth and in this game you are every thing but stealth with elephant foot steps (while sneaking!!!)cloak, that highlights you like a Christmas tree in a dark room from a distance and clicking sounds announcing to every one where you are(standing still is now useless). Every range weapon leaves a super visible trailer disclosing your position(eaven spear and arrows… WHY!!!), you are slower than recon class human, you are unable to defend yourself in hand to hand combat against a knife(with which you can be butchered in 2 seconds), your enemy is literally immortal and can come back from dead, their weapons have NO recoil and bullets are not subjects to laws of physics (not like your range weapons)… No, its not about people playing it wrong, its about devs making it impossible to play as stalker/hunter. You only option, and only if you are lucky, berserker+combistic+rage attack… this is not how I want to play as the predator, I refuse to play that way. This gameplay is fundamentally broken. Period

Oh! I forgot to mention the FUC**** SPAM SPOTTING AND MARKING OF A STEALTH PREDATOR!!!

I agree with you, balance does need to happen. I am trying to mitigate the amount of change tho. too much salt will ruin the dish

Off topic, where is every one getting that from? It’s not from canon movies(P1 and P2) so where is it from? Just asking, quz every time I hear people saying Yautja(or Hish) are honourable warriors, respecting their opponents… I’m like - have you even watched the first to movies?! XD Not being sarcastic at all, just my impression of them from those movies is completely different.

The comics books mostly and the expanded lore. They also can see it in the first two movie, the “Honor Code” We as Yautja which is the name of our species dont attack the young/elderly, pregnant or those that cant defend themselves. We also dont attack nursing mothers

I really do understand this point of view. Just understand that if the “Pro” player gets a buff then the FT will have a horrible experience too. We all need to understand and represented the best of both sides

I see… Yes, there is something there to stand for that… however(I love that word!!!) what I have seen in P1/P2 makes me think of Yautja being more like serial killers with a “thing” for armed men, rather than honourable warriors. 90% of times kills are stealth, inflicting ridiculous amount of pain, bodies are being mutilated and displayed, hanging upsides down, to scare other pray… What they do on screen in canon movies does not fit a warrior description… more of a hunter, with serious sadistic disorders XD I have a collection of HT Predators at home and like to think of them as a bunch of extraterrestrial serial killers XD

What we have right now is like a hardcore directors’cut version of pred gameplay… I tottaly think same as you. If devs want to keep thing the way they are, they need to do two different game modes

So if you delve into the lore a bit, it say that the reproductive cycle of the Yautja is mostly based off accolades. So the more fierce the prey and trophy is the more offspring you may produce. An elite hunter can have up to 80 younglings
