Why are you trying to melee pred alone?

So, the question to some FT members. Why are you guys trying to fight a pred 1v1 with knife? Alone.

I have just finished a game where one guy separate from his team and went to fight me 1v1. As a result he only deflect me 1 time and than died like a pig lul. I understand that you consider it as a some kind of honor but that’s really funny to see such people. You have a much better chance of killing a predator when you play as a team, rather than going to fight him solo. Plus, you spoil the game for your team. After all, it’s much easier for me to deal with 3 enemies than with 4.

Actually, I like when some guy or even two imagine that he is a hero and can handle a predator in a melee fight. I like to hang their skulls in my summer predator house

Its the fastest way to practice parries outside of private lobbies with friends. If the ft member plays perfectly they do in fact win the melee fight so they may be going for that too. Knife only builds are fire.

if you know how to play against this style, then these are nothing more than clowns for you. Predator is faster, has more damage, aand, after all, we are playing third-preson. You know, it’s quite simple - make one hit, move away or run around the FT(or even jump), make another hit and repeat. And even if the player will be able to deflect one attack, he will not be able to do this with everyone. As a result, you get a free trophy

Using your brain and game mech - this is a key to fight with such 1v1 heroes and actually with every people who wanna try melee

Yeah, so I know that they’ve all quit but I have seen/played with people who parry the first predator melee attack like 9.9/10 times. So if you plan on meleeing them down you would need to net them.

Probably such people are exist but I didn’t see them. In any case, there is not so big chance to win vs pred in solo if you are not a complete nerd. For me such guys are clowns(even if for them it’s just like training)

They think they’re gods or just want to practice parrying. I had one of those today, a Recon with Thick Skin to be specific. After they kept parrying me, I just netted their ass and sliced them to ribbons. The Net Gun counters their entire strategy. It’s really satisfying if they start raging over the mic at you because you countered their stupid strategy.

Honnestly, its depend of the player in front of me haha and if I play with patato rambo or actually good player. I kill 3 pred 1v1 with the knife. Obsviously, Its not working every time but when its does, god thats feels good. Its a little challenge

Because they’re waiting for sword DLC so they can 2 shot you 1v1

Its best when scout pred tries to duel when you have heavy hitter and nuke their hp

Well maybe because it’s a game and people tries things ? Stop acting so superior and let people have fun trying stuff. Who care if they die ? Maybe they just wanted to buy time for their teamate to reach the reinforcement knowing they’ll die and spawn there ?

I will say that if the pred is using his wrist blades and you have Bane and the melee damage perks you can inflict mass damage if your parry timing is good.

I dont know why a person would go out there to face the pred 1vs1 - it’s a last resort for me when the pred is full on meleeing me 🤣

key word. you kinda know it’s over if you’re alone 1v1 (unless you’re on the way to the chopper) so why not do a billy? :)

They probably come here see all the over blown threads about how zomg amazing parry is and how FTs decimate in melee, buy the BS and hype, jump into a game and get rekt. :P
