Why bother with some FT weapons

I don’t play sniper. It’s just not a play style I personally enjoy and that’s just me. I decided what the hell though and spent the week leveling up the sniper rifles to level 10.
Now I’ve got the grenade launcher, mini gun and Grimtech as the last three weapons not leveled up and I gotta say I just don’t see the point. Why bother with these weapons at all? I mean you can almost make a case for the mini and the grenade launcher. Super situational but still more a detriment than anything. Why would I ever use these three?

They are not main guns…they are special and not a casescenario special…more like…i want to do something special. i want to be something something. i want to die somethng special.

They’re trash. I never use them. Minigun could be of some use but it’s too slow and has no range at all. So don’t use them at all.

I get that but the grenade and the mini could at least be a little more effective. The grimtech? That thing is literally a place holder. That’s all. I mean it’s got some cool skins but man is it just useless

my take:
Mini gun : Is useful on trees where the preds are because with guns they take a long time to cut through branches that impose you hitting him and with minigun…it cuts through it quickly and the spread makes you more likely to hit him. This gun mainly is used to draw attention to a location from your perspective to other FT. Its not an end all or a execution gun.
-plus there is a quick shooting trick when you tap tap right left moues buttons to start firing immediately.

The Grenade Launcher: Shoots about 4 or 5 grenades quickly and at close quarters can scare the shit out of preds within a tight FT. In my experience, you can prolong a game 9 minutes minimum with this tactic alone if you use it as the main weapon especially on the pyramid map. This makes your matches a bit more worth while for preds who typically suicide their way through matches.

These have been my observations. These are the only reason i would arm my guy with these two weapons.
They both serve as a sort of mediator’s purposes, to draw attention to something and to ward off the pred while completing missions.So its very good when you want to completely the FT mission challenges. Arm yourself with a shotgun as a secondary and you’re ready to roll!
