Why cant predators have more buffs like the FT

Here me out before I get all the snowflake fts.

For example young Arnie has specification perks correct then he himself has extra perks like while mudded has damage reduction also has hip fire damage.

So why don’t the predators from set movies have these extra buffs?

For if you have a full ft with
young Arnie

SPECIALISATION Frantic or reckless
new version of hammer head

grenades, heal,flashbang

mudded up
knife damage,
yauja bain

That’s 26 FUCKING GRENADES

Against one pred the amount of damage output is fucking spazzed who has a bow two melee weapons wristblade and main melee also a plasma caster weapon set as standard to which fts cry about. Goes to show the skill level between the fts and pred players pred players being of a higher skill set which is actually most likely to be very true.

Ok so here is my pitch idea on pred extra perks from movies only or new predators like exciled ect.

So let’s do city Hunter
Plasma caster
Wristblade
Combi stick
Bow

Gear health sensor mimic lure
Lightbender, dithered lens, extra battery

Now the extra perks whilst above ft throwing Combi stick does 15% extra damage

Using disc above ft position must be thrown from a height over a meter in game does 20% damage and 5% splash damage due to force thrown.

See shit like this would be cool to add to movie press gives them something unique to that pred only.

What do you all think and fts don’t cry lol

The whole game needs a rework but Ilfonic is pretty much done with this game.

The amount of grenades I agree is dumb and op.

I’d suggest on both sides a sort of incentive system to play the classes as intended.

This could be done through the weaponry and how they stack with certain classes. (Mind you, this is tougher to do with the specializations thrown in the mix).

Ex. Samurai has a bonus with the katana, Viking with the axe, Recon with snipers, support with lmg/minigun, you recieve a buff of dmg or some form of other incentive playing as the appropriate class with appropriate weapons.

So if you want to use an axe on a scout or anything other than a Viking, or a sniper on Dante or anything else other than a Recon style class, you recieve a hefty nerf.

Basically striving for balance while maintaining purpose for the characters and classes compared to this “open arena meta chase” of a game we currently have.

@Kassinaillia not sure if QA has tried this out. Would be cool to see more incentives for specified playstyles and just to make the game, make more sense as a whole.

Some Predators have hidden passive like more energy, thermal vision doesn’t cost energy or extra melee dmg, even negative ones like take more dmg from knifes. Their passive just aren’t mentioned like the FT.

Yeh the reason I mentioned it the way I did is so you play set pred to its perks ect. So say I went Viking it would be at a nerf using the city Hunter stuff way. Like when you read the small bio of Arnie it tells you he has hip fire damage and mud resistance right so then have those types of perks on the press that buff the pred ect. Like Mr black while sprinting forward don’t take bullet damage stuff like that.

Preds have both positive and negative passives while ft only has positives.

Honestly would be super cool.

The game is too free for people to continue to just use the things that borderline guarantee a win, instead of actively playing the game in their appropriate role and making it enjoyable.

Hoping we recieve some form of weapon lock or just shake ups to the game as a whole.

It really needs it.

A weapon lock I’ve asked for when they are not mudded if I lock on to ft unmudded it will insta down with full charged blast. But fts cry

Cus Illfonic has a fireteam bias and balances the game around the possibility of people getting braindead potato teammates in public games. Its not balanced around 1v4 situation with players of the same level.

Meant for FT.

Caster is fine other than when preds use uncharged shots over and over and over again.

Then they should get friends to play it with them lol but in this type of game this always happens.

That game is where you need friends too for there are dumb ppl on it like in phg when playing fts lol

Only lock on with a full charge
