Why do different items have different throw trajectories?
What makes me chuckle and scratch my head is not only how dumb the AI can be (they’re quick to Shoot but not React) but also how they don’t React to Noise Makers from either the Predator or Fireteams. And Flashbang hitboxes seem to be waaaaay off: it literally has to explode right in front of AI Goons to have the full effect.

There needs to be some kind of dynamic rotation measure for the Hammerhead. Even the Grenade launcher but more so the hammerhead. I don’t know but the higher it goes after the sweetspot, its completely out there. I can’t get a handle on it. I know having something like a gyro measure is unrealistic but your aim completely relies on it.
Different weights, shapes? A frisbee has a different trajectory to a stone.
Agreed. I guess I’m not clear. If they have different trajectories, I would still like them to leave my hand identically.
Say I’m next to a tree with over hanging branches. I toss a noisemaker. Decent far toss. I toss the thermal decoy without moving, and it is tossed at a lot higher trajectory, hitting the tree branch above me.
If one is heavier than the other, adjust where they drop, not how they’re released.
