Why do leaves stop my plasma caster but not bullets

It makes it really difficult for the predator to be effective from tree tops when there’s a twig literally in the predators face stopping him from shooting the fireteam

leaves stop the first bullet as well, but since most of the FT is using automatic weapons they punch through.

Okay that makes sense seeing that the branch exploded 😂 but still I don’t understand why predators can’t do predator things but I just gotta hope it gets fixed
