Imagine you’re playing a tactical shooter - say Counter Strike, and you’ve got one person playing with a gyro and the other 3 using Nintendo Wii racing wheels.

Sure, 5% of the racing wheel population will overperform the other players using racing wheels but 95% of the racing wheel players are at a strict disadvantage unless there’s Halo levels of aim assist. And those racing wheel players are handicapping themselves & would do better without the trash input device especially in a game with a lot of vertical targetting.

Crossplay is a disaster for shooter balance and a mouse is more accurate than a controller by an immense margin.
