why do they detect me?

i am a pc gamer. I actively play Predator and when a fire team of 4 pc players appears, they kill me in a matter of seconds, because they constantly detect me even when I am far away.

I am currently using the scout with his new ability to make no noise.

previously I used to read in the forum that they won easily because they detected us by sound. But if my predator is camouflaged and now it does not make noise … why do they continue to detect me?
Is there some kind of bug in the game? people cheat or is it just something illfonic should work on?

Disciplined only kicks in when you’re completely still.

Try the perk Dithered Lens, it hides your plasma castors targeting laser, when you use thermal vision your eyes glow, when you leap from a branch it shakes, when you land it shakes, npc’s still know where you are, your blood glows etc.

Lots of ways to find you. 🤷

You’re not completely silent with discipline, you stop clicking but you still sound like an elephant running through the jungle.
On top of that, branches move, leaves fall, bushes move, thermal vision lights up like a flare, plenty of visual clues for sharp eyed experienced players.
Discipline definitely helps but there’s a whole lot of other things.

From the matches I’ve played it seems that way.

how they find you:

If you move you are not 100% invisible and easy to see and get “spotted”

If you run or walk not crouched then you make loud stomps and they can hear that a long way.

if you move in trees the trees creek and make a noise and branches move giving away your position.

If you move through bushes and foliage on the ground they can see the bushes move and know where you are.

If you leap they can see you even when cloaked and when you land a lot of dust comes where you land.

if you change vision to thermal and back your eyes glow yellow for a second and they can see that.

If you use a weapon that is ranged like plasma or bow or disk etc it has a trail that shows where it came from.

if you you make any clicking or any sounds they can hear that.

if you are hurt and lost even a small amount of health, then bright green blood pisses out of your ass and they can see that miles away…

If any AI are close they can see you and shoot you and if the fireteam see that they will know you are there because the AI is shooting you.

If you use any items or heal or do anything then it usually makes a noise of some kind

Basically, Its super easy to find the predator and cloaking isnt very useful against a good team.

They are cheaters 100%

You should not be able to be detected at all. You should be able to walk up to a ft and stick the combi right up his ass and still not get detected.

Watch videos of how other preds play. They probably know you’re prone to mistakes by your play style, do they took advantage. You can definitely improve to be a formidable opponent

You gotta put the time into it to catch up to where the vets are right now. There things to learn

Sound was just one issue.

The cloak is still relatively easy to see. Especially on PC where lower graphics makes it even easier to see.
