Again I apologize and meant no harm in my comment and need to be more aware of my grammar and textual tone.

In all honesty, PC players are just very very very very good.
They are usually 2 or 3 steps ahead in strategy, you need to be 5 to 6 times ahead lol.
Don’t play like you normally would and keep on the move because it is going to be them hunting you. You have to adjust to this accordingly. Traps, hiding with audio decoys etc.
Plasma caster helps alot with this. Just have to time your shots and not let them know where you’re shooting from cause your mask is a big target for them.

Hasn’t been true for about 8 months now, maybe longer. Best way for a predator to stand out now is with epic or cinematic settings, which does reduce the FT player’s framerate. The pred is still invisible when cloaked and over the cutoff distance of 50m or whatever it is, but if uncloaked can be visible across the map if your settings are high enough.

So it is no longer lower graphics but higher graphics which makes the Predator more visible. That makes perfect sense to me.

Ok to clarify, I’m a console ft main. Your foot steps are easily heard even when walking slow. Tree branches bend and creek when you leap to them. Bushes and tall grass move as you walk threw them. There are plenty of ways to catch a predator just ask Chris Hansen.

Correct. It hasn’t been a thing for over 2/3rds of the game’s lifespan at this point, but it was a thing at the start and so people got it in their heads and when console players are doing crossplay, if they are considering it at all, they are doing the wrong things to counter it. They never want to listen though because they’re so caught up in the never crossplay thing despite this patch specifically addressing issues that made crossplay a disadvantage for console preds.
Stay 100m out from the FT cloaked to make your approach, consider your approach, get in, crouch when you first get into the potential seeable area. You either need to be extremely mobile and shoot quick shots at this point, or to do strong shots/hit isolated players, and get the hell out.
If you’re 100m out and cloaked, you should be safe unless you’re bleeding a trail of bright green blood to show the FT where you are, get further away and heal up if you are, pigs are more prevalent and you can eat them quicker this patch. If youre under 100m distance, you need to be either mobile, or ready to do a hit and run shot.
If you’re uncloaked and not surrounded by 3 walls that you are 95% certain that the ft is on the other side of, then you’ve got a good chance of getting hit unexpectedly by a sniper shot.

the Answer is simple… they see you cause the noise because even if you use cloak when you trackdown the FT in the beginning, for sure you are not silent… honestly when in the past years i imagining a game predator based was not like this one…
The FT enter the game and already know that you are out there, basically you can win if you play like an isteric fool that keep jump , then hit some FT member then escape again with jump… all like this… the cloak is useless, plasmacaster is useful if you spam like rambo, your weapon are shit…
i am not saying that win is impossible, i say that this is not a predator experience… because all the thing that predators do here are useless… so you must play like a not predator…
20 minutes of qe to play like a fool in order to win.
i can understand the blood trail, correct, very cool the FT camo feature, and i can understand a malus when the pred move on with the cloack or when he use plasmacaster… but this is ridiculous… you must run, jump, hit, jump and run again.
a lot of players will kick me in the butt probably for this answer but really… i play the whole AVP sagas and that was difficult in MP but entertaining and epic too… play this game for predators its frustrating… if you want to do it like a pred obviously.

Do your eyes glow yellow the whole time you’re using thermal vision? Or do they just flash on then off when activating/deactivating thermal vision?
From my experience it’s just a flash that lasts for like a second or two which is more than enough for someone to find you when you combine it with all the loud noises a pred makes.

Because when ur moving they can see you. Hitscan and low recoil guns make lasering in to ez. You just need a lot more practice vs PC players.
