I just think its hilarious they just keep adding more damage instead of fixing controller aim to be on par with any other shooter. It’s widening the gap between PC and PS4 whereas aim assist would shorten it and guns could be balanced across platforms.
We’ll probably get more locked animations for potatoes to get free hits in with the new gamemode too if this is the way its going.
Well, if you consider from a health point aspect, the mask got a 50% buff in health. With the huge buff to protection, your mask is effectively indestructible.
Several patches shifting power away from melee & moving it in the direction of the FT, caster losing its one shot, combistick melee nerf, thrown combi nerf, nerf to bow headshots, bear traps giant destroyable bubble, zerk’s stamina, handheld caster etc etc
Basically anything that has ever been considered good, but hey pred gets more damage on the final hit of the warclub combo to deal with people using AK and bane!
Right. Oh snipers got touched by the branch buff as if anyone running low settings cares. And they made it so one scout cant parry the pred 7 times wonderful when it takes 1-2 parries to die. Same issue with “ammo nerfs” still takes the same amount of time to die provided you actually hit the pred or heavens forbid illfonic admit mouse has an innate advantage over controller. Reinforcements got bumped to a stupid amount of time, somehow encouraging more speed wipes instead of fixing the fact that its a full respawn because I guess understanding player behavior is rocket science when you don’t play your own game.
And they buffed the AI to make alarms more concerning than the pred lmao but alarms dont go off unless they’re set off pre-emptively anyways. Damage perks themselves were always a giant mistake but its illfonic they’re probably still confused as to why no ones using warclub combo give them 4 months to catch up
But for that level of indestructibility, I’m forced to use up one of the pathetic 3 Perk Slots, and waste points that need to be spent on other essential perks?
Okay. As I thought the fireteam has not received any damage buff, except the pdw-z which still comes short of second winding the hunter predator even with extended mags.
Heavy knife melee does 199 damage per hit, and scout has 1000 health. Not sure how 1-2 parries does anything but slow down the predator.
Adrenal boost got a buff. For an elder I’m getting up to 9 leaps back to back on elder. Medic is godly now. Large pouch is amazing now. Lomg jump feals noticeably better to the point where if I take it off I feel it being gone. Plus some other buffs that I haven’t tested yet.
Now yes Zerker got the short end of the stick with this update but so did the FT support and assault in regards to perks.
Edit: of course I agree that the last patch was FT favored but thats because if gadgets and perks that were already op.
In short, because of those two minute rushing predators that made quickplay suck, so that even someone who knows what to do didn’t want to be matched with randoms which drove up the queue time for predators. Now trying to fix those times they’re attempting to make being fireteam suck less solo, and lets be honest not just anyone can be a predator it 1 versus 4 its supposed to be tough making it so that every move the predator makes in a match has to be tactical, we are also only in month 5 of the game just barely give it some more time and they may fine tune this whole thing into that making fireteam slower on mission and giving predators proper time to stalk till then roll with the punches
