because the metrics show us pred mains are slaughtering the FTs in under 2 min. Doesnt take into count skill or platform. Metrics are terrible… its why league of legends bases metrics off LCS (ranked play) and not casuals.

Its reasonable.
um its time to implement a 2 v 5 or 6. cause then the 2 preds will ahve to work together… at same time could cause for a dumb pred to get wiped in 4 sec… Sure the game will be more balanced.
I want to team up with other preds already.
i know one would be running a energy build and full dithered lens for long range. The other pred could run more tanky but who knows… the game could be fun and not all the pressure put on 1 pred.

Just cause you want the pred to die right away it doesn’t mean it is reasonable.
What we have now isnt.
10 slashes is perfectly reasonable.

As a matter of fact 10 heavy slashes.
Regular slashes should be 13-15.
Your knife should only be for parrying anyway unless you’re dueling.

The odds of someone getting 10 hits in a Pred is a bit ridiculous, on a Scout mind you, it’s very unlikely unless the Scout purposely lets you.
Considering my preferred class can be downed with 3 hits (2 if there’s a glitch) in melee…
and considering how much I hear about wanting to be able to one shot FT with the Pred, it shouldn’t surprise me.
They’ve buffed the predator and nerf the FT for as many patches I’ve seen up to this point. This patch they gave some buffs to the FT and now predators are heaving a fit.

Idk how I feel about 1 shots for pred.
I haven’t really thought about it. Would only want it for good premades tbh.
Unnecessary for most ppl.
The numbers of hits needs to be achievable. Considering you still get SW after and get to run away, but if I’m downed it’s just over.
I disagree knife is for parry, it’s a knife it’s multipurpose and one of those purposes is stabbing. 😉
It’s also kinda in my name, I’d run a melee build if it was possible.

But you shouldn’t be stabbing a Predator to death in the first place, this isn’t Fight Club. Your primary attacks are firearm based. The knife is there as a defense mechanism only, so 10 stabs will deter these ballsy FTs from thinking they can just run up on an 8ft Alien powerhouse and jab him a couple of times for victory.
The usual scenario is you’ll have two FT rushing the Pred during a melee with their knives out, so accounting for the damage received during the actual melee itself you’re looking at 3-4 stabs each from the two FTs to neutralise the Predator.
Either that, or give Predator a punch attack so we can punch these cocky fleshbags square in the face causing a stun effect like when the Predator goes into Second Wind.

Everytime I see shit like this it pisses me off.
For months on end. It was non stop, ft bitching because they thought pred was op, it wasn’t, they just didnt know how to play.
However, now that there Is an actual imbalance In the game. Ppl are speaking up, and they keep getting told to shut up.
Everytime ft mains were bitching every single fucking day non stop, pred mains didnt just mock them, I saw more ppl just telling them pred wasnt op.
I didn’t see pred mains mocking ft mains, in the way ft mains mock pred mains for speaking up about thing being unbalanced.
And it isnt the ft as a whole, its just some of the guns.
I keep saying both sides need tweaks still.
And honestly, yes, ft should be extremely weak in melee. Its a range still class. Unless they make an ft class specifically for melee.

No, for months on end predators where filling this forum with bitching about nerf this and buff that even IF they where constantly getting buffed.
No, its pretty damn balanced in like 90%+ of games, the only issues you have are with the VERY good premades (that is and assuming you’re good yourself). As it was before, most people could not do shit, now they gave quite a few tools for low skilled and new players to play with. Now that this people can’t be farmed as much “THE SKY IS FALLING!”.
You did no… What? You can’t be serious, any time I would say something about “hey, this is not right” people where attacking me since this forums is full with pred mains for the most part.
If FT are to be made weak in close combat, then they need things to keep the pred off (like roots and stuns) or the predator to not be able to reach a ranged class in a single leap!
Here is how you do melee, you spear him, most HP gone, he is in blind, you finish in melee. Not from 100% to 0. That is bonkers.

In a duel, it has to be doable, I’m not encouraging people to chase the Predator.
I run a pistol as my secondary and personally would run a sword/machete given the option and keep the pistol too if I could. It isn’t about it being too hard for me, but it does need to be achievable.
I can both want to behind the eight ball and still have a chance at the ball I’m shooting at.
PS. LMS, should give you Heavy Hitter. Then you’re encourage to duel when in at state.
PPS. I’m Slasher, I choose the name for a reason. Yes guns are more advantageous but I like a variety of play styles and the one that I want most is better Melee… or stealth kills by FT on AI, I need to be able to knife those guys from behind. 🔪🔪
