In my eyes it’s really bad, if you are lucky or really skilled you willl able to get two people in a net at a time likely loosing a qauater of your health in the process unless you dodge well. The projectile also tarvels so slow. You are forced to use the wrist baldes unless you switch, but if you switch it takes to long and takes a wepon slot of two melee. I think I herd somebody said @Fire uses it so I would like to hear his thoughts.

I use the net gun from the trees then fast hanf switch to the caster back and forth. I have had a goal for about two months to get a entire squad kill with it

If netgun did on hit 30dmg with a tick of 15 it would be a good item.
Bows with poison tips… like an ammo loadout would be cool

I dont really use it too much even tho I always take it.
I just love messing with ppl.
I love seeing them pinned, and running around looking like theyre in a straight jacket.
However, on the rare occasion I feel like actually implementing it into an encounter, I feel the best use is to net someone who’s guarding a downed body, and go for a quick claim.

However I do agree, it can be a bit sub par vs good ft players.

Hit what the net? Its not that hard with the cloak buff anymore, I even got two net stealth kills last night.
Idk about poison that a little much. I would like to have normal arrows and barbed arrows that instead of slowing you down they inflict bleed damagw

Nah you just have to be concious about how wide the projectiles are, and only target people that arent up against a wall
Try trapper perk , it requires 6/7 seconds to beeak it if you are moving.

Or a tested spam ability where you take a lighter and run it back and forth against the interaction button for a easy 2 second get out time.

Assuming the user has the proper skill, the netgun can incapacitate the FT allowing the Predator to lay more damage on the FT before he can damage the Predator too much, it’s useful against knife users and minigun users. And it can be really useful to isolante two FT, making only one capable of fighting back while the other is trapped. And it can also be used to trap one FT while you claim the other.
In other words, it’s a tool of control that can be really useful to limit the FT, and 5 seconds can be a difference in a match.

Lmao only in video games.
But if you want actual use, just use it to get a quick claim. That is the most effective use I have found.
Aside from that, I think it’s best used for fun now a days.
