Not entirely. They’d need to keep thermal up to properly see us which puts ft at the advantage with mud.

Ft would need lights but provided they could turn them off wouldn’t be that big a deal. Essentially being like a passive gear item.

Predator lights up during cloaks and the targeting laser would illuminate where they are even better. This also means that lesser energy classes have more room to shine since the dark would be natural camouflage enabling predators to get in closer.
