Every now and again I get those matches where things don’t go the way I planned it. But then there are some that remind me why I love playing this game.
Its that moment where 3 FT members get to the chopper, except 1.
That 1 FT member kills the Predator as we witness through his eyes. But wait, he needs to disarm that self-destruct bomb while hordes of Stargazer soldiers surrounds him.
He’s getting blasted still, while doing that hideous puzzle.
and while that predator starts laughing, i’m going “oh shit, what next?!”
Then it happens…
BOOM!!!
At that moment my heart jumps and I laugh hysterically because it could have ended up going the other way with pure silence and utter victory as that lone FT member disables that bomb ALL BY HIMSELF!
Then i go to myself “Oh damn!” I could have been there if i didn’t exfil so soon.
But it’s these moments, the feeling of making it out alive or pure victory that makes this game SO exciting!
Needless to say, with all it’s bugs…this is what its all about. THank you Ilfonic! Its a great game worthy of putting more time, money and punishment into.
