why is Absolution non existent?

I mean can’t a franchise be absolved from an FPS if it can be if it could be sucessful at it? but it is uniquely Absolved to a unique identity of an FPS because of this and that and initial investment.
But the franchise was a movie, so isn’t it free to be whatever it wants to be if there are investors?

AVP is tied to it’s FPS roots and people are butfucked to it. Was it the least expensive to produce?

I mean what a shit cycle its gotten itself into when it can’t get itself out. People think the cheapest game to produce is a doom mod…so thats what the FOX went for. BUt now we see gaming as a HUGE economy…yet we feeble minded still are attached to the idea that it starts and ends with First Person Shooters.

Franchises have the freedom to explore different genres and adapt to different mediums based on investor interests. While some franchises may be associated with certain genres, they can evolve beyond them. The success of a game depends on various factors, including investment, development, and market demand. It’s important for franchises to consider the potential of different genres and adapt accordingly to meet the expectations of a diverse gaming audience.
