So for the first year it was more like the 1st movie and after that it totally mutated.

They carried out that plan with the introduction of OWLF to the game one year later and all the gadgets they brought to the game.

I am saying that this game stopped being like the first movie and turned into a war between species scenario the moment Dutch senior said that this is what is actually going on. Back then it was just lore but 1 year later it became reality and changed the gameplay drastically.

That’s the current cloaking mechanics. Before that you could see a cloaked pred anywhere on the map, now it’s just if they’re close enough or if you see their eyes because they’re using thermal vision.
