Obviously this game isn’t for you, because the devs included it. Stun locked? If you’re getting parried multiple times in a row, that’s your fault, not the game.

Parry is necessary because otherwise it’s just the pred winning every game. Parry is the counterplay to reckless melee, with parry melee is still viable, it just takes more skill.

Define rushing? if you mean Kill a Full fire team in under 30 seconds you can already do that. so if the intend is to stop that Behavior then i would say they either Failed and are avoiding that issue or or maybe just maybe that was the Intend behide parry. could be just as simple as they wanted to make the Knife for the fire team have some use.
It’s a bit of both. You can’t guarantee that everyone will be able to parry but providing that option will slow down Predators from rushing a team.
Just removing the mechanic even behind a perk doesn’t fix the ultimate issue of knife generally being more useful than gunning down a Predator. Damage needs reduction but parry should stay.

kay well ask @Fire im a Predator main. and i can tell you for a fact never lose any of my games. even with Parrying so i mean… if i can go around it so easliy why is it needed?
and if the intent is to stun lock the predator… why did they feel the need to Nerf it twice?

If you made this game, put an item into the game, sat back and told your self " yes this is prefectly fine i love the way its being used and theres nothing wrong with it" why would you step back and feel the need to then say " wellllllllllllllllll maybe its a bit strong and i should Dummy it down with a nerf." doesnt make alot of sense if you ask me…

That is some backwards logic. What you should conclude from that is other aspects of the predator (health, ranged dps, stealth, etc) are too strong. Not that melee doesn’t let predators choose how to win.

what? no everything and i do mean EVERY thing should have its Use. parry takes away the use of melee and theres nothing that Fire team risks or has too give up to have parry as an option but the Predator has to give up a weapon slot for a melee weapon.

i get the Feeling if they Buffed the stun lock for the fire team and had Taken away the plasma caster from the predator you would be in the back saying
“needed 100% fair games not fun with the predator using his weapons”

Like I already posted, katana bleed damage can’t be parried, the combistick can’t be parried at the end of its range.
Also, they added a third attack to the club that can’t be parried, and parry has gaps in protection, where you can land attacks. You can melee from behind, as well.
Also, winning every match is not the same as simply winning. You said you never lose as predator.
Finally, the person that is parrying cannot fire there weapon, so that is giving something up to parry.

Dude is it just cause you don’t like sammy, or are you just giving up on discussing shit?
The parry has no real counter play except to avoid it.
And for the most part, that means not using melee.
But I’ve said this from the very start, it’s too easy to parry. That’s my only problem with it.

The fact that FT can parry but Pred cant is like challenging someone to rock paper scissors and saying you are forbid to use scissors.

Dude, I feel like if they listened to a lot of your feedback, the game would be ruined.
I get it.
You win a lot.
But you want balance changes solely based off you, like if you’re customizing a single player game.
Extremely selfish.
I mean fk, I win a lot of my matches as pred, but I can still see how ft is op. Mainly cause it’s so damn easy to play ft.
Just because you win a lot at pred, doesn’t mean its op. Unlike ft, you have to actually try and win.
With ft, it’s just make sure you all cover each other, look at the pred, and either press r2 to shoot him, or l2 to parry so your buddies can shoot him.
And in regards to this topic, I don’t want parry removed, I just want it to not be so easy to parry.
Or a more complex melee system for pred.

Sammy I gave you a reason, parry is melee counter play for FT, otherwise they would get steam rolled. That’s the reason, it’s why it’s in the game.
I’m not whining, if anything you are. You win as pred awesome, why does parry bother you if you win.
I lose to well played pred melee, but wouldn’t enjoy losing just cause in any game.
Fire, I didn’t pick a fight with Sammy, read up, also not running away I’m at work and using my phone. Not the best situation to be responding in but I’ve been making it work.
