7%? dude it is was and always will be the top 5 perks of that game in green purple and red ranks…
they even showed on stream ( at least when i watched) it was the 2nd most used perks by red rank players. thats a problem.
i just dont want the knife to be the next DS in this game…
I’m sorry I just realized you @ me. I conceded before and am willing to do so again. Perhaps I am lucky and only get trash FT’s. As I said in my first post I feel I suck at this game so if I am winning it is logical to conclude that those I’m facing are worse then I and as I said I am bad. lol So again I humbly submit maybe I shouldn’t have spoken on the matter because my view is too narrow and close minded.
I’ll see if I can find the statistics again so I can post and you maybe right but I believe it wasn’t red ranks it was specifically rank 1 and 2 which made up a small percentage of the playerbase.
well no doesnt always mean your bad when you win just that there is alot of bad players on this game its hard to know what was Skill and was what was luck of the Match making
no everyone in that game is Yellow and Green

Honestly im with you.
Just because something isnt being abused by the overall playerbase doesnt make it any more/less powerful. And thats the issue with the mindset of most of this games playerbase thinking things are "balanced"
Yes, as pred we win most matches because most fts are uncoordinated or clueless. But when on the opposite side that 1/ every 10 match is unwinnable because of abused mechanics, its just wrong. But tbh i think it really speaks both ways about this game.
Almost everything in this game is imbalanced. Thats a given. But its not just the balance. Its the games design philosophy. Making preds strength against ft be his massive health pool and not his toys fucks this game in every way. And is why ive been so frustrated and dissapointed.
It single handedly opens the door for there to always be something one side can abuse over the other.

they shouldve made the predators tools ALL OF THEM strong and over powered like jason was in F13.
but make the predator him self weak…

his health should be no more then say a heavy armored ai tropper.
but hes weapons should be one hit kills if you do things on the right timmings.
such as plasma caster can be charged and then held if you cross your sights in thermal mode on a target with heat you lock on in the 5 seconds you can with your cannon charged. if you have it fully charged and a full lock on a player and land a direct hit it should insta kill the player if you land a full charged non locked on hit it only downs the player instead. by having it this way it makes the predator feel stronger with out making him op
the cloak sounds and clicking is fair i agree altho i think the cloak it self needs to be tweeked so its a tinny bit harder to see
i think his melee weapons should be a two -three hit down and then two - three more hits to kill them or you can claim them.
if you wanna know more of my ideas i would be more then happy to fill you in but thats the idea in a nut shell
Pretty much the predator should be loud yet hard to see unless not cloaked then it should be the other way round easy too see hard to hear.
his health should make him very easy to kill yet his weapons are so strong its easy for him to turn the tabbles
I agree his tools should be strong but making them one shot kills might be a bit overboard. I have them as that in my rework, but they still need to be tested before I can really say.
i think boars shouldnt be allowed to heal the predator instead you should have one med kit that heals you for 300% of your health but you can store and save it. instead of it being on a Charge base system and once you use it your done. stronger for the predator yet weaker at the same time
I dont agree on his noise. Anyone with a decent headset can pretty much prefire pred out of his cloak, even if hes perfectly still. The noise is really the detriment of his cloak, more so than its visibility I think.
Honestly boars should just be removed and his medkit should be a part of his kit that recharges as the match goes on. For the sake of gameplay that should limit it without making it limited yenno?.
well you could just add more fire team members add more trees and more leafs let the predator see through them with thermal and let him cut the branches if he wants too
i thought about that but it wouldnt changed anything players would just back off and wait for the heals and then fight. as they do now with boars…
so you would have to make it limited… but you can patch that up with instead of charges just use an ammo pool system for it.
More ft members would make queue times worse but if that werent the case I would welcome it.
Both sides need to be able to shoot through leaves and twig ass branches effectively. My survival shouldnt be dependent on whethere or not my bullet hits a leaf.
well the only reason why i agree with it is if your hard to see and hear you would be too strong… you would have too many options of attack then…
