Why New Predator sucks

Stats are not even 12 like hunter… Why in the Fuck would you play this… is there some hidden melee dmg…

Literally can’t wrap my finger on why his stats are 10.25 vs 12… is there a brain on illfonics team.

Some of preds have higher stats than others at cost of gear or something… scout zerker highest stats…
lowest are elder and samuri… all stats should be 12 or 13 and evenly distributed. Given more gear weight doesn’t really help much with the limited gear to choose from.

Hidden stats
elder and scout can get out of second wind faster… get away faster…
zerk has more dmg and so does hunter/ elder on melee
running on the ground is futile unless your a scout.

Bleed damage with the sword.

Also is very very quiet.

Cant hear it sneak up on you.

i can see it used on hunter, elder or zerker… samurai pred doesnt cut it.

The new predator is f*g OP. The katana range and damage is fucking off the charts. I’ve not been able to run away from it at all. It’s an all new Combistick that everyone is rocking.

I think I understand the point of the DLC. It’s so the developers can be funded and also those that purchase it will be the beta testers. That way when it’s fully released to the entire public it will be adjusted in the new update. That’s some bullshit business sense if that’s what they are doing.

Not everyone goes straight for the meta loadout. Some might actually enjoy the look of the samurai. Paid classes shouldn’t be any better than the others in my honest opinion.

You also have the pay 2 win aspect you have to watch out for devs get torn a new one if there’s even a hint of it.

I’m not against it being a new Combistick. I think it looks cool. But for F* sake… the range/damage is unreal.

Actually… Hunter has 12 “stat-bars”
Elder has around 11.8.
Scout has around 10.3.
'Zerker has around 10.6
and yeh SamPred has also around 10.3.

As for “hidden” stats for each class. No idea, and they should be listed in percentages. Same with perks that modify stats like dmg, dmg resistance etc. The guessing game in a game like this is just pure annoyance.

And all Predators should have stats that add up to 12 bars… and then have their hidden stats visible with percentages… Same with FT. At least when it comes to FT, most of their stats add up to 12… if memory serves.

The katana and samurai class will force you to change your tactics. Which is not a bad thing in an already stale game. No more easy wins for the fire team for a change. It wont always be like this iam sure the next fireteam member will be op as hell just like dutch and his freedom tube lol. they’ve nerfed every weapon the predator has to make it as simple as possible for the fire team. I say leave it stop catering to the fire team

Have you not learned yet hat there are different kinds of people out there, with different tastes and opinions?

I’d also prefer armor styles that actually look like predator armor, but the samurai isn’t as bad as i thought when i heard from the dlc.

In my own opinion.

Same here, it looks like a samurai, that should not be the case, its a Yautja! He should have feudal Japan motives in his armour, not a samurai armour and mask! I thought it will be something like Big Red, but they literally put a proper samurai armour on a Yautja… looks silly if you will ask me

SAMURAI predator does NOT have any hidden stats variables such as + Melee dmg however Some claim he has less parry downtime but that could be the katana instead
