This game sucks. It’s not an experience of hunting as a predator as much as it is experiencing having a giant glowing target on your back as you leap leap leap bunny hop away praying to God you get behind something fast enough to hide, heal and maybe re-engage.
The predkour, the thing they showed off from before the game even came OUT, as this shining accomplishment…this thing they’re so proud of…it feels like shit! Fighting in trees feels like shit! “Stealth” in trees feels like shit! This game feels like shit! Doesn’t matter what side I play. I hate fps. My brain doesn’t handle the forced first person perspective well. I can adjust to Sekiro, and Bloodborne. I can’t do fps. The Predator handles so poorly too though. I thought maybe it’d be better on the PC side of things. They’re in hell too! Makes you wonder what any of the people who are praising, or god forbid defending illfonic are even smoking. Only the artists escape my disdain, and they’re still held back by the overall incompetence of it all. Nor do they deserve full credit. Not like they’ve made an original addition of their own in any meaningful way. Just constant wank over decades old films, and comics. Most of the armor shades don’t even feel worth their grind. It’s difficult to get things to match properly with a lot of things aesthetically too. Overall it’s not enough, even though it’s good, and it isn’t fun trying to unlock shit. At ALL.
