Are we now exaggerating everything because we dont like the argument?
I can name you plenty of games that dont have mind blowing issues like this one.
I sit 4hours in menue today and could only play 4 matches in that time.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. But when it doesnt the issue is huge.
We are not talking about DbD waiting for a match on PTS when a new killer is out.
We are talking about not being able to PLAY at all.
Again the mindset that people say the game has no issues because they themself dont experience them is stupid to say the least and not sound disrespectfull.
But with a bit of brain you should know that having issues can be caused by very tiny things and having none can be just that you are the lucky one that doesnt fall into that catergory.
Please give us a slack. The game is fun, but what does it help if you cant even play it. I mean thats on every game designers rulebook on first place. They dont even have ranks or skill based MM so what in the hell are they even doing when they fail to manage to code a programm that puts 4 FT players against 1 Predator.

You seem so qualify what you about you go show them how to manage a multiplayer game in the middle if a pandemy stuck at home :)
The PS4 version runs really well. I’m usually in a game within 60 seconds these days (4 minutes of I play as Pred). I heard the PC version does not perform as well sadly. It could be the case they’re ramping up the fixes for consoles so it ports to Xbox well. Sorry you’re having a tough time with it though.

Oh no, I’m not exaggerating for the sake of argument. I don’t mind a good debate/discussion @Shepherd81. And don’t worry, I can engage with more than a bit of my Brain. I’m not exaggerating there either since you brought it up. Just wanted to clarify. ;)
If we’re to say that Matchmaking will kill the Game, no I don’t agree. Will it aggravate plenty of Players?? Absolutely. Will it drive Players away?? Thats their call. But keep in mind that Developers don’t want to see something die due to frustration. If it gets that bad, I’m sure Illfonic would jump right on it. We could also say it’s inexcusable to launch something with 50/50, hit or miss Matchmaking. Things should have been tighter at launch and I don’t really like hitting that Cancel Option just to Queue in again. But we also have Patches and I’m sure Illfonic is working on it. Queue Times today averaged at 4 Minutes. When Dutch Launched, it was 2:30. At it’s worst, I saw upwards of 10.
I also can’t speak for Stability Issues. I originally started playing on a Stock PS4 and recently Upgraded to a Pro with a 2TB Samsung Evo 860 HDD. While the Game looked somewhat rough around the Edges, I hardly had any Stability Issues with the exception of Frame Rate Drops. On my Pro?? It’s very good. I also think too many People fail to realize that Illfonic isn’t a major AAA Development Studio. While Graphics aren’t up to par with, say, the latest Call of Duty (namely the Modern Warfare we just got last Year) they’re not complete rubbish. For creating what they did with their resources, I think it’s good.
The same thing can be said for the recent Terminator: Resistance Game from last year. Here you have a Team that had extremely limited Resources. All mainstream Reviewers panned it, but hardcore Fans praised it. I mentioned Resistance because Hunting Grounds is in the exact same boat.
While I don’t think Hunting Grounds needs a complete Overhaul, it certainly needs some work. But it’s definitely not a complete mess. My point before was that way too many people complain for the sake of it, and that only amplifies the entire discussion beyond what it should be.

I am sure you have for everything an excuse and an explanation yet you wont try to understand that some people have big issues in the game.
There is absolutely no reason to argue with you at this point. You dont have the problem, you show now empathy or understanding for it therefore you lack every aspect for having a constructive discussion.

I was glad to see some arguments for and against the game.
To clarify some things:
Nothing in the post implies that the game didn’t sell well.
I understand that it did numbers and people play it, but without an improvement to quality it could suffer.
I don’t have complaints, I have criticism after my hours of play time a day since launch.
Its great that you haven’t had performance issues, these aren’t always issues everyone will experience.
Anything else was valid criticism about things I, or others have experienced.
Don’t attack anyone’s character or opinions just because you dont agree with them. I certainly wasn’t bitching or moaning, everything I mention is factually accurate and you can experience it yourself. Perhaps I could have articulated my concerns and experiences better.

Let me judge you, for someone to say there addicted to playing this game since day one and cant stop playing the game, you naff jumped into the forums quick to make your judgement!

Epic doesn’t provide playtime in hours but its around 4 days at this point. i think that makes me sufficiently qualified to post to a forum about my personal experiences.

I am also a big fan and i agree that posts like this are disheartening, if the issues didn’t exist, I wouldn’t post about them of course.

If there is reason to criticise something, you absolutely should, especially if you like it.You shouldn’t settle for how it comes if it can be improved.
I suppose I am anticipating it to fail in the way I worded the post, based on its big misses and well documented issues. But I would love to be proved wrong because I enjoy the game and the IP.

I hope the game will stay alive. They are improving the game every patch. The problem is that it will require a lot of time to fix all the bugs because there are toooo many. Hope they will fix these server issues and add new content this month.
Fair point. But there’s also a fine line between complaining and criticism and offering things you dislike without solution is complaining. And having the title implying failure is kinda slandering
People been saying GTA5 online is dying or even dead for a couple of years now and guess what? It’s rammed full of players 24/7. Even the flying delorean and hovering motorcycles haven’t killed it.
This game if not updated properly might dwindle down to a small player base but it will be enough to keep it going. I think it will be around for at least a couple of years. They will eventually put it on ps plus as a monthly game and that will boost numbers massively.
You know, I actually can’t understand how people are continue playing it. Just if you look like this, then the developers are doing really shitty work:
-they cannot fix known bugs for 3 months
-they cannot make simple balance that community asking for
-they cannot create some kind of communication with fans. Cmon, people ask them to give at least some answers, to tell in what direction the game will move, what awaits us. At least something. But they continue keeping silence until they release another poop and receive a flurry of negativity in the face. Just…i dunno, check rust or insurgency, there are devs that know how to communicate with fans.
-they cannot add a content that community asking for. I am not saying that Dutch DLC was awful but…did we really need that? Do we need a DLC with Alpha pred? I don’t think so. You see, when you create a game without content in it, then in theory, over time, you should add it. And in games of this genre, where the whole gameplay has the property of boredom - this is important like nothing else. But Illfonic desided not to add some interesting content, but just adding fun-service. I am not saying this bad but they should add such things when the game is more or less ready for this. There are no any new maps, no any game mods. It’s become boring to play
It’s funny, but this whole situation now reminds me of dota 2. Gaben feeding ppl with low quality content and they are continuing playing it and eat it like hamsters.

Pc huge advantage especially when we can dump a whole clip of smg in you or fast track behind you with shitty predator melee movements… ever since i ran suppt heavy hitter predators get second winded… i enjoy both aspects of the game. From robin hood predator to netgun and traps… and the disc if ur good with it is usually amazing… the combistick imo is a projectile weapon since its nerf into the ground. Plasma good for downed opponents. Wrist plade tripple animation cancel in 1 sec. There is a lot to be discovered. Still trying to figure out the omega leap glitch…random
Except I did offer solutions for the loot boxing. I cant offer it for the rest as I am not a game developer.
