i don’t understand , the Predator is too serious, i don’t ear him laughing when he kill somebody important (npc “trophee”, or player).
All video games have made it, why illfonic, why ?

Show me one movie scene when he laught when killing someone or takeing trophy from corpse please?
Please remember, Jungle Hunter lough at the end of Predator was not loughing - it was vocal mimicry of sounds he has heard and mastered at repeating. It’s very possible he did not fully understood what loughter is

He was mimicking the sound heard earlier on. Probably did not even understood what it meant. Also, he never killed anyone while mimicking laughter.
Never said he killed anyone while laughing but he did laugh when he armed his bomb. It couldn’t be the vocal mimicry from his gear since he made the the facial expressions and body movements of laughter also I doubt he doesn’t know what the concept laughing is since they have been around humanity for a long time. Otherwise it would have been very convenient that he’d laugh as soon as he was beaten and ready to take everyone out with him.
To be fair preds do not mimic because of gear, or at least not only through that. The mask has a recorder built in, it seems…but preds are somewhat like parrots. The laughter of JH sounded almost exactly like Billy’s. For another exemple you can look at how unmasked city hunter says “motherfucker” to Harrigan…no gear needed
So my point is: JH might have been taunting dutch at the end, but it could also be that he didn’t fully understand the meaning of laughing
Oh yes, make them make noises as much as possible, I don’t mind! When you’re running away low on health and I try to chase you down, to burn your second wind, that is what you need to do, laugh as you’re low on HP after that quick claim! :)
I always figured they had limited speech capabilities like how city hunter said motherfucker however I’m pretty sure they have an understanding of human languages and mannerisms to know what laughter is and when to use. For example in AVP there’s a deleted scene where scar and Alex are stripping an aliens skull and he activated its inner mouth scaring her and he chuckles.
Well he can travel trough space, figuring out why humans laugh should be really easy compared to that :)
Well they surely are good observers and learners, and if CH could complete the “you’re onr ugly…motherfucker” line, it probably means that JH recorded data from Dutch’s squad was sent back home and studied by others
I would rather have a laughing option in the wheel command.
@Bayn_11 As shitty as The Predator was, I really enjoyed some aspects given to the Predators, like how they can undestand human behaviour and can mimic voices, only needing some time to properly use it. And also them knowing how to use human equipment.
I was really avoiding using that movie as a reference for anything.
I pretend the autism thing and that suit in the end doesn’t exist.
There’s just too little that’s decent in that film for me to even try to reference anything. The only thing I liked was the fugitives design and that’s it.
Yes if i ear you all, right, he is not laughing on the movies when he kill, that for that a say the predator do it in other videos games.
But he will be great in the wheel selector voices.
Everything was fine until the Assassin showed up, before that it was just the good old Predator movie, with Fugitive killing people.
