So i just experienced surviving the blast on Excavation where the pred dies at the highest point of the crevasse and having just kicked him into SD mode, I hopped a few steps and dropped down the opening. I think it was the furthest drop because the fall put me in the downed state.
Now he blew up, but I survived and was still moving on the ground for 30 seconds. It eventually went all white, but there was some disconnect icon. I still got the helmet knock off point i believe.

I was wondering if the cave system would provide any sort of protection from a Predators self destruct above ground…maybe they’ve implemented something like that.

I think it’s all of my stabs in your back that has toughened your skin, making it resistant to alien explosions, my knife is actually a wristblade from a Predator after all.
