Does anyone else find it absolutely retarded that if you kill the FT while they’re waiting for exfil, you don’t get enough time to claim the skulls afterwards? I killed all 3 remaining while they waited, and only had time to claim one of their skulls before the round ended because they were all dead. The game should most definitely allow you time for those claims, and to down any AI in the vicinity if there is. Just robbing you of hard earned kills and XP.

Right now until its address over all, you’re on the clock.
Once chopper is called, you’re on a hot time clock. Chopper fly in time +30 seconds he sticks around.
It could be helpful if the timer changed to show this for Predators but at the same time, it doesn’t need to.
Soon as that chopper is called in you have to haul major ass. The game is almost over.
But once the timer is out, it’s over, rules of the time game. There no mini epilogue or “afterwards”

Is it fair? Yeah I think so, if they didn’t disarm the bomb in situations like that they die too or dont escape. So they lose out too. If they’re down they also die.
Should you get credit for the kill? Yes, not the skull but kill count yes. That should be changed.
Can it be addressed to give you some time to claim some skulls? I mean maybe? Would that be fair? Yes and no, it gives you buffer time to “win” but it could also be pay back from making preds sit and watch fire teams claim their body for some whole extra time.
I’m not talking about a trophy on psn. I’m referring to your trophy claims as in skulls. If the chopper leaves and you’ve killed the ft, the game ends almost instantly. So if you’ve got three corpses waiting to be claimed but you kill the last guy after the chopper leaves, the game ends immediately, leaving you unable to claim the three skulls in front of you. I just had it happen, twice. You can’t be expected to have to make your claims on each body as you kill them. Downed enemies are expected to be used as bait as well even. You should be given time to claim those skulls.
Some people may not get this, based on the AI downing an enemy. I’ve had that happen at the chopper twice as well, and I haven’t been able to claim that body because the game ends before I’m able to. If the chopper is gone or not, as soon as you wipe the last player, the other claims can’t be made, you’re lucky to even get the one of the last kill.
I don’t see any reason why you shouldn’t get the right to the skull that you earned. If you kill three men waiting for their extraction, in the middle of fighting AI as well, that’s a proud moment, you should want those skulls, and you should be rewarded for your hard work, just as if you were the FT defending the Predator body. It’s literally no different, actually it’s even the sole objective of the Pred, claim your kills. If they’re YOUR kills, you should be given at least ten seconds or so to claim them. If you can’t claim them all due to either AI combat, or just distance/time between them, then that’s fine, but the chance at least, not immediate black screen.
Like I said, yes and no.
Its happened to me before, trust me. I fucking hate it.
But you’re on the clock for this. Whether thats the full 15 mins or chopper extraction time or both.
If the timer runs out thats game man.
Like I said, could it be changed? Sure. But both teams are racing the clock. Albiet its arguable who has more pressure on them, they completed their mission and thats their main goal, end goal is to escape sure but they played their game.
Yours is to collect all trophies before timer is out.
That being said I know the end screens dont reflect this and they should. There is “no win”/neutral screen that’s just a camera pan up and no one.
There should be different end screens depending on different out comes but overall you didn’t collect in time so that doesn’t qualify as a full hunt win.
Should you get the kill counts, yes, again I agree, you downed them before timer was done. The trophies, no. It’s a timed game.
Your tasks must be completed within that time frame.
