I don’t forsee that either. As bad as overpopulation is predicted to be, just look at india and china now compared to many other countries. We still got ways to go. Though i do wonder what the breaking point is if levels of O2 are decreasing.

People are against natural resources though
The people I’ve seen “against natural resources” are against suddenly replacing fossil fuels in fear of economy crashes.
Beyond that it creates jobs so a slow integration is fine to most.
Course that’s just based on who I know so it’s not exactly an objective fact but I’m working with what I got.
