Can’t tell you the last time I ran into a death squad (aside from voodoo but they don’t count because they’re just really toxic Dante’s that are mediocre at best in the game, killed them all in 7 minutes flat)
Or turn off cross play, pretty simple.

It would be great if they nerfed City Hunter and didn’t make wrist launcher a must use gear item. He’s too OP with it.
Or “others” simply need to Git-Gud? Simply learn how to play the game. Casuals can’t come with such opinions, saying that the top players in the game has to leave for you to get a chance.
If you end up facing players that are much better at the game than yourself you’re obviously going to get your ass whooped, what part in that don’t you understand? It goes for all online pvp games.
Some people simply aren’t born with the ability to learn from their mistakes, think for themselves and have no situational awareness in games that will help them become a better player. They’ll always be the lamb among the wolves, unless they face equally or less “talented” players. You’re playing on PC and you only wish to meet PS potatoes so you can feel good.
If you’d play Counter Strike as an example and end up facing the top teams in the world you’d probably come with the same statement, that you want the top teams to disappear so you’ll get a chance yourself.
When i’m playing private matches together with my friends, most of them are very well known in this game and i’m sure that others would agree with me when i say that they are currently the very top players in this game both as FT and as Pred.
I’d say we end up with somewhat 50/50 win/lose ratio by the end of our matches between FT and Pred.
It’s in the public hunt matches i’ve met you, and then i’m playing mostly with my “chill-play-party”.
Whenever we’ve met you playing as the Predator in public hunt matches we can clearly see all the mistakes you do and your lack of skill when playing as the Predator in this game, just like we do with any other Predator player we meet.
Due to your ignorance you’re acting the same as many others who simply can’t understand that some people can actually play on a professional level in a game. Either they claim that the players are using cheats, hacks etc or they want to get rid of them in some way.
@MassImpact124 When i’m playing as the Predator against the currently very top Fireteam players i’m able to win half of the matches. SO why can’t you win against me and my friends when we’re just chill-playing in public hunt matches, MassImpact124?
There’s only one answer to this question, it’s because you don’t have the skill to do so, you’re just writing more here in the forum than you’re actually playing the game. You only meet potatoes when you queue up as Predator so you don’t learn anything, you don’t improve, you only get dumber. And when you all of a sudden run into a good Fireteam you just get stuffed like a turkey on thanksgiving day and goes back to the forum to whine about it.

you’re not right! This game is unbalanced, the predator is easy to spot, it’s not even invisible! a game full of exploits and bugs and brag that you’re top players!
This game is garbage…
Go play a real fps and I guarantee you will have more fun when facing other players with the same skill as you constantly. It will also be more challenging and overall a better experience.
This game has never been as balanced as it is right now.
It’s easy to spot because potatoes like you only traverse through the trees, making leaves fall and branches bending, things the FT can see across the whole map with the 10x scope. And the Predator is not invisible, what makes you think that? It’s only bending the light, go watch the movies before you come with this statement. The only time the Predators in this game are fully invisible is when they have been standing still for 3 seconds, but then they’re still making clicking sounds, unless you’re playing on PS infront of a TV it’s not hard to pin point where the Predator is located by using your ears.
Yes there are bugs and exploits, but in private matches exploits are not being used, then people wont play with you and you’ll get a bad reputation. The bugs affects everyone and is something you have to work yourself around since illfonic doesn’t fix them.
Any suggestions? I wouldn’t mind a change of pace
To put it in nicer words than Dexter:
Trust me, we had matches in the last weeks, where two Preds were completely invisible due to a bug, and we still managed to kill them.
Long time ago, the devs even changed the cloak towards being completely invisible above 40m distance, but the top Preds abused it so hard and became so invincible that Illfonic changed it back due to the outcry here.
Illfonic will never be able to invent a better balanced system for the cloak and any other aspect of this game.
@Dexter is right, the game was never as balanced as it is today, the Problems are more that the Matches are not balanced.
When I play with guys like Dexter, Psychobabas or Mr Mojo, 99% of the Preds will get obliterated within the first 5 minutes, but not because the game is imbalanced, rather because of the huge gap of experience between some veterans who play daily for 2 years now, and some random dude on his couch that plays the game a few times per week on his PS4.
We literally know the paths where Preds will spawn, where they will go and what places of the map to keep an eye on. After thousands of matches you simply know that stuff.
The Problem is not the balance between the Fireteam and the Pred, the problem lies in Balancing the Matches so both Factions are at a similar skill-level, and this is where Illfonic fails.

Imma disagree here. The problem is both.
I played since the start and taking a couple multi-month long breaks occasionally. And I run with the melons who are really good. So I’d say I’m probably high mid tier on either side. Against pubs I curbstomp, but in private matches with the melons and other good players I’m probably the least useful out of anyone. I can and have killed premades.
Now I get it, you want to circlejerk with your teams and say, oh we’re the best because of pure skill and not at all balance. But how is it balanced that i can go into a pub match with 3 potatoes against a predator that is just about as skilled as I am, and run a scout duelist with the 1011-12 and kill the predator without too much difficulty? And I main predator. FT dps is insanely high, and having 4 players that can SW a pred within a single clip isn’t balanced for shit and you know it.
However skill does come into play. Doesn’t matter what your dps is if you can’t use it.
It’s a combination of both skill and balancing. IllFonic was trying to balance the game so that a premade can’t shred the pred, but people can solo the predator if the other 3 ft are potatoes. The result was that they chose to balance it around ft being inexperienced and uncoordinated, so if any half-good premade is running, the preds existence will be trivial.
A fair point is that this is closest to balance so far, but that is a pretty fucking low bar given this games history. They’ve made a 4v1 with the mindset of being able to 1v1, and so any experienced ft team will be able to destroy it.
It’s tricky to balance. Balance the game around fighting premades, the predator will curbstomp pubs. Balance the game around pubs, the Fireteam will curbstomp the predator.
IllFonic chose to balance the game around pubs as that is the majority of matches.

that’s why you have custom settings in privates. If some people don’t want to use them, it’s their problem.
That’s irrelevant. It’s not the players job to balance it.
The problem is balance all around.

The game isn’t balanced, anyone who thinks it is just doesn’t know what balance is.
Yeah, its extremely easy to track pred, theres way too many ways to do it.
