Intuition. I randomly spot and spam predators who arent moving all the time just by guessing where they might be. They saw you run behind there. You didn’t go out the other side. You didn’t jump over the top. Where else do you think they would look? When you’re moving you’re super visible and they didn’t see you leave after you went behind the shack.

Now the fact that this is a mechanic is what I think should be discussed. The only way to go 100% invisible is to stop moving. And when you stop moving you didn’t move so they know where you are lol… Seems a little stupid considering the predators main advantage is that you can’t see him. In this game he is so easy to see. Even with the low health of the scout and hunter, they would be completely viable if you could move at all in any way and not be easily visible. Changin this would fix every problem people are having with the game.

Yeah its so easy to see you. Even if i flick my mouse 180 and he tries to stop and be invis I can still notice him for a fraction of a second and i just spam where I saw him lol.
I know, but the problem is that you need to rotate your body to not lose them, and that’s when your cloak fails.
plus, the sounds show where you are anyway.
By the looks of it, they knew you went off in that direction and once you stood still, you became invisible.
Granted they didn’t know exactly where you were at the time, they knew you had to be close by.
If you look at the Recon girl, she actually collided with you (Player Collision is a thing). After she collided with you, which was mostly pure luck, she then knew you were right there

i like the invisibility effect. it could use some tweaking though like the visible invisibility, if you will, could have a delay on it when you start moving of a few seconds or you are completely invisible if far enough and the effect only occurs at a certain distance or a large energy burn to move completely invis i dunno. i wouldnt get rid of it altogether, its fundamental to the predator’s mythos.
what are you talking about? i said the invisibility needs to be better. you are too visible. you aren’t invisible at all when you move. at all. its like not being invisible. no point in going invisible if you’re moving. can see you just teh same as if you arent invisible.

It’s not true to the flim lol and also yes. This is a video game. In the film do the guerilla soldiers take 15 shots to the head with an ak? No. It already isn’t true to the flim. At long range he looks like a frosted glass window. The only place cloak looks like it does in the movie is when you play as the predator. It’s not like in the film he crouches and goes 100% completely invisible lmao. Things need to be changed in a videogame cause shit from reality and or flims doesnt work. Saying that is so stupid dude. Like you think you should run faster with your knife out and get perks and sht? Didn’t see anyting about that in the film either.
So funny too because the first thing you’l notice if you’re a “true fan!” is that the cloak doesn’t look like it does in the movie at all in any way shape or form. Looks like a weird shimmering piece of glass.

Yeah, definitely heard you. Majority of the time I feel like the Predator’s sounds give away its position. Not to mention the cloak is still pretty easy to make even when standing still.

I played during the trial and this is exactly the case. It was a lot of fun on both sides of play and I was really excited about the full release, but then when it arrived it was just a nightmare to play as predator. The health bar disappears in a few seconds and fireteam spots you way too easily. Unless you’re against a team of clueless noobs you don’t have much chance.
Dude you are fucking standing you need to crouch to be full invisible.

You are standing right in front of all of them moving your head around with a big spear making clicking sounds because you are cloaked…you can clearly see it takes them a few seconds to determine if you actually are silly enough to just be standing still right in front of them like that. No hacks
