They cancelled countless star wars games that were in the works, they halted development on battlefield 5 and battlefront 2 when it reached it’s peak and now they just pulled the plug on BFN when it’s only just reaching its 1 year mark. What the hell is going on with them? They gonna pull the plug on the anthem rework too? Gonna stop with the Sims packs? Bet they’ll still pump out FIFAs every year though won’t they.

Perhaps the lockdown has affected larger places like EA even worse then this games development

Perhaps. But most of them were cancelled/halted before the pandemic even began. Only one that was cancelled/halted during the pandemic is BFN.
I think they’re just too busy smoking dope over there making whack ass decisions. EA is one goofy ass company.

Its all about money.
If its ONLy profitable then it tends to be cancelled.
EA don’t want profitable, they want disgustingly obscenely profitable with microtransactions all over it for steady uncalled for revenue.

Sounds about right. It’s never enough money with them. Dutch from RDR2 is the embodiment of EA. “Just one more form of microtransactions Arthur have some damn faith!”

Because EA is a shady company and the games they pulled would most likely have pay-to-win bs in them so they would fall even deeper into the lawsuit that is going to cost them billions anyway
