Exactly my point. Get rid of them as perks.
Give all preds a damage reduction across the board. Give the fearless and impenetrable to your melee classes as passives down range to your range classes, and Bob’s your uncle we got ourselves a game and some extra perk points for creative use
While the specialisations may help they feel more like bandaids than actual solutions. The same way DBD tries to solve core problems with perks. It’s just not very good in the long run.

Specialization came right after the predator buff to its cloak. Why do you think that?
So, predator has improved cloak for specializations.
I dunno like I said I kinda feel we’re close to balanced in a lot of ways and need to iron out the kinks here.
Right now theirs not enough distinction between classes for the Predator. I think once that gets some love and adjustment it’ll all kinda pan out

Specializations seem to be balanced around the current state of predators, at least by Illfonic and they have the logs (the pic with what they where saying about balance).
I can track the predator even now to some degree BUT its far harder then before. Now the improved cloak makes up for the specialization, can’t say. How its balanced overall… Going by ilfonic seem to be in a fine spot with a small lean to FT.
BTW, as good as those specialization are I see a shit ton of people not using them.

Seriously??? This actually made me laugh out loud. "Oh we actually made cloak work, now to balance it let’s make the FT immortal (Field Medic) and buff damage (Assault Passive + Deadly + Bane + Leader = %40 damage increase)

Are you not the one who posted Illfonic opinion on the balance? It would apear it DOES make up for specializations. Its far harder to track predators now then before. Before the buff to cloak it was more easy to shoot them. Playing semnatics with fixing or buffing means little.

They said a slight, SLIGHT advantage to FT(before the current buffs) and that they will monitor how this will progress with the current buffs. That is very far then giving predators free perks or specializations, that will end up needing rebalancing for FT (at least by the assessment of the devs).
