Well shit looks like i lost a whole cent.

Edit. On a real level though, you must be the exception. This game, even without the bugs and glitches (which while obviously a problem, i dont count towards my assessment of a game much, as they can and will fix). Is horribly flawed. New maps and game modes will be fun for a while. But the core issues will shine through and piss people off to the point of outright leaving as they are already pissed off. Now dont get me wrong. I see the value in the game as it is now. Its fun and short. But unless they keep their spaghetti ass code, it aint gonna survive a rework. Its too broken and not worth the effort of upkeep to maintain, not on top of a rework. And if my changes get ported over, it simply wont be the same gamemode anymore. Its gonna feel so different we might as well scrap it anyways.

I believe things can get better. But every month that goes by, we get closer and closer to Dday. And tbh. I dont think that illfonic will be able to pull a no mans sky

the games would be much better without the randos on FT. Or if people just picked up there game. And the super sweat CS Go players dont even play anymore I talked to a few of them that make the russians look like a cake walk.

As far as the gameplay goes… it doesnt feel very solid at the moment. Not very stealthy just a jumping around like a rabbit launching pistol shots or arrows.

Issues hits scan and detection are my biggest gripes no hitboxes

Well, my evening went like this… log in to RDR2…get kicked for a network error or some other error 10 times. 10. TEN!.. log in to PHG. Play it. Enjoy it, even with its imperfections. Win a few matches. Sleep.
I paid way more for RDR2 and Rockstar still can’t get their online working correctly. Phg works.

I for one appreciate the enthusiasm and optimistic view of the game. It’s refreshing to see a positive post among all the negativity in the forums. Kudos to you for being positive.

The game needs work but we can still enjoy what we have for the most part.

The game is nowhere near perfection like some games are, and that’s okay? People will really go play games for 60, 100 dollars and expect the same out of one with a 40 base price tag game. Regardless of that, the game works better than from Beta/Launch 100%. Of course there are still problems, but Illfonic has shown effort in actually supporting the game. If this was some simple cash grab, we would still be stuck in Launch State.

it will never be super competitive. If they implemet a ranking system at some point… you’ll never see so much sweat in your life. People will actually play the game and not run 3 recons and die in 2 min

I get upset too when my gun doesn’t fire or lags when I’m trying to kill the predator with the group, but I’m sure they’ll address it eventually.

Also, I’ve found it much more exciting to search for the predator in the trees instead of waiting for it to find us. Much more exciting game play that way, and helps me put aside the issue of lagging fire.

Just for the fun of it, go to my profile. Check my posts, and the dates. Check the comments, check what I spoke about. Then come back to what you wrote.

What you will notice is more than just a change in tone. What you will recognize is a similar pattern between then and now. As in, I don’t expect this game to be substantially fixed. What I’m expecting is an excuse and/or reason why this game didn’t live up to the audience their expectation.

I’ve been playing this game since day one. I’m aware of all the issues everyone is talking about. I’m not sure it’s enough for me, personally, to put the game aside or abandon it. I’m not sure if that’s the feeling I’m getting from the responses, all I can say is that this game is doing just fine and they don’t need to feel the social pressure of hurrying the fuck up and making this game prestine. It’ll take some time.

Also, the bugs aren’t consistent. It’s not like it always happens every time. I don’t get what the big deal is. Am I missing something?

I feel like you didn’t play Evolve. Because I’ve been on this train before. I too hoped for things to get better. I learned a very valid lesson with that title.

If things are taking too long for whatever reason, then it’s very likely not going to happen.

Imagine how long it took to create this game, and how much time they’ve had to fix it. 50% of what we got is here so they can make more money. I see people recording clips with bugs that are so severe and game-breaking, it makes me wonder why it was released this early in the first place.

Game-breaking bugs are not to be ignored. A matchmaking so horridly imperfect it literally wastes your time. To park that, they made promises that still aren’'t implemented. Cross-play is a half done job atm.

Have you ever played a big title with a bare-bones friendlist system as in this game?

I think you aren’t seeing it, or you don’t care about it. Both are fine, it’s the audience they’ll keep. But I’m leaving this game alone until they do implement these “fixes”. Because I’ve enjoyed wasting hundreds of hours on Evolve’s forum trying to fix it…? I know I’ll keep it at a maximum -> minimum for this title. So far… I’m not impressed.

Well since they are taking longer the usual for an update they probably want to fix the core issues in the upcoming patch so they are taking a bit longer, so they can adress those issues and fix them, theres an old saying, good things come to those who wait.

Yeah well, those things should have been fixed at launch. This game should have never gone gold with 3 maps, 1 mode and game braking bugs. Then the game braking bugs added later. Just a mess of a development.

You do realize its a small team? Bugs are going to happen no matter what game it is, yes they suck but give them a break its been a little over 3 months the fact we’ve been getting pretty consistent updates is pretty damn good for this small of a team. Yes lack communication is annoying but contracts are contracts we can’t do anything about it. The fact that this fourm is this toxic I don’t blame from wanting to not communicate, and the entitlement is ridiculous on this fourm, yes there are people that make good points and are giving well received constructive criticism, and that is better than some rando complaining about something while swearing up storm, that doesn’t get anything accomplished other than spread more toxicity. Maps and modes don’t happen overnight the fact they are taking this long with them is good sign it will be worth it when they do come out. They could rushed out the new map and mode already and be as broken as game was at launch, I much rather wait longer for a better experience overall than a rushed map and mode to please impatient players.

I don’t care about the size of the team or what problems they have when I buy a product. Does not matter if its a game, if its car, oven, coach… Would you buy a TV with only black and white with a promise they will add the colors later? Again, could not care less what problems they have, they are not my family, they are a business providing a service.

The updates they gave are not relevant. This game should have have at least 7 maps on LAUNCH!

Forums is not toxic, those are the CUSTOMERS providing feedback on the purchase.

See the fact you don’t care about size of team and you expected 7 maps at launch proves my point, most of you are entitled, this is not a triple A game 7 maps at launch for dev team this small is unrealistic. We are lucky we got 3 at launch, and yes most people will agree the fourms are super toxic, and we are all customer yes that is true and look at retail stores most of customer are toxic that complain all the time, there was no false advertising for this game minus the crossplay issue.

I am a customer, its not about being entitled its about paying for a product and expecting it to function right, it does not even do that with the countless number of bugs.
