Yautja Honnor Code

Hi all,
You’re going to laugh at me but… I’m level 220+ (almost exclusively as a Predator) and I notice from game to game big variances in experience gains… I understand that it must be due to the Yautja code of honor. The game does not explain this system. someone can help me ? Thank you

Okay so basically Predator will mainly get XP from Fireteam.

Whenever Predator Claims or Kills a Fireteam Player, they will copy and paste their total XP onto their own.

So if you kill someone who has been doing a lot of stuff, you will get their XP and it will be a lot. A Fireteam that didn’t do much, you won’t be getting much.

Predator also Passively gains XP if they are very close to Fireteam as some of reward for stalking them, but this is not recommended because with how close you have to be, most Fireteam can find you out through noise if you’re cloaked or find you and then attack you which will end the XP drip. It will also end if you attack them while in this “stalking” phase or if they move too far away.

So taking all that in, the “Honor Code” to adhere to as described for more rewards is this. “Let Fireteam do stuff, kill them when they have a lot of XP.”

Although I will say though, playing with the intention of letting Fireteam do whatever they want is not recommended at all. If you want to win, kill them as quickly as you can.

If you want XP, do whatever then, but make sure you claim/kill them.

Short Claims/Kills give out a fraction Iirc, while Long Claims will Copy and Paste the whole amount.

He thinks XP is based on some code of honor the Yautja have, and that it’s magically programmed into the game. Thankfully Xeno corrected him on that.

Yes yes, I understood correctly. It was while rereading the gameplay information that I saw this famous code of honor. I wanted to know what it was about. I tested it and it actually works.
