Its literally a 4 bullet difference between no bane and bane and automatics are only as good as the person shooting it, most ft dudes miss half the clip not that autos arent good but it’s not a guarantee of a second wind unless multiple people are lighting up the predator essentially it’s a useless perk worth too many points to not make better use of other stuff. I think predators need more stamina mobility can be the difference between life and death more health damage resistance is great but being able to get in and out quick could be good for overall health management

Good preds can lose to 1v1 in last man standing. It should still be a rarity unless conditions favor FT. Low Pred health and no second wind (though pred can still run and heal) or low health and reinforcements are still possible. Pred can be in trouble if he rushed in and gets parried, but I believe that a good pred should win a ranged shootout in those situations almost every time.
the difference in 23 damage is actually large, if other people take it too, then for a couple of shots each one gets 100 extra damage
