The aim assist has absolutely been changed. I’m not that good a shot and I’m doing WAY more damage and constantly on target. It’s WAY too easy.
Anyone else seeing this?
I also think they nerfed the pred IR for night mode on purpose. I’d bet money 😅

I figured after last night. I lost several matches as FT but the ones I won seemed way too easy.
Yeah people are 100% hitting shots they never would have before. On one hand, ouch, on the other this is a good thing as its gonna be way easier to demonstrate why FT damage is fucking bonkers right now.

I just played a couple of matches after 2.29, but i think Predator meleewas buffed. I mean, parrying doesn’t happen that often as before… I can’t tell for sure.
FT damage output has been a problem for going on 10 months now. Prior to Specs, was relatively manageable. You could safely run almost any build really. Like back in November of last year, I was running around with Light Bender, Modified Reserve & Energy Cell on my Scout because I just wanted to fuck around with an Infinite Cloak & Thermal build. Fun times, never had trouble. Then FT got several new shiny toys & Specs and damage output shot through the roof and perks such as Large Pouch, Medic & Impenetrable became essentially mandatory. The introduction of Predator Specs lightened this to a decent degree, no denying that BUT then we just got the current META of “Damage Stack on everything” and both sides are running essentially nothing but Damage Builds respectively these days and its spiralling out of control on a META level.

Oh they reworked Melee. Tracking is better across the board for one. And the Viking Axe now swings at Elder Sword speed, Hammer got a speed buff. Oh and the new War Club can down an Assault in like 6 hits on most builds and swings at 3 hits per second. Also Valkyrie has been buffed to have 2 more Perk points, 100 extra HP and now has a new Melee Damage passive (Haven’t checked with Kame & Skool yet on the specifics but its probably a 13% buff) so she can 2 Hit a Support with the Viking Axe as a Ghost with Fearless, one heavy followed by a light and its pretty wacky considering the Heavies & Lights come out at roughly equal speeds now, have better tracking and are real fast.

Funny you bring up damage stacking. Knife fights with Dutch Reckless bane and heavy hitter is ridiculous

Can you tell if the predator elephant steps were lowered. It seems to me that the steps doesn’t make that huge sound when running near the FT…
it still sounds the same also parrying is still just as easy i’m still locking predators down in melee and they have no chance at survival unless they back off and use a ranged tool in
the hook the combi stick the sickle the katana all just as easy as before albeit the war club is a litle more difficult since the speed of the last hit is soo much faster it’s more difficult to sidestep

Sounds the same to me
I played the fireteam no buffs that I can tell. But oh boy are those night maps make it easier to track the predator. I think a lot of people were expecting this to actually help the predator. But frankly the predator stands out a lot more in night time then they do in daylight. Also that green blood is like a 100 times easier to see At night. That’s the only big major thing that I saw when I played a little bit of fire team.
Between blood, broken cloak, and IR being unusable due to brightness, night mode is FT city

I played 2 matches as the new predator didn’t see any issues with my IR or cloak. But yah I noticed when I was damaged had green blood leaking they seem to be far more accurate so that is all I think it is is the glowy blood on night maps that are making FT bettet
Actually makes that one perk that lowers your trail of blood useful it seems.
I just tried ghost Valk with axe and fearless. Totally nuts. 2 hit everyone. Fucking love it
