Exactly this. I believe if you do a charge back, you are going around Sony’s policy of returns, and they will ban you. Since a charge back would be going around their ToS. Basically if they deny you a refund, you’re stuck. You still can still do a charge back through your payment institution, just be prepared that it most likely will result in losing your account. (Don’t know if the refund is worth that, depending on what you have in your account)

Good information. Sad to see people supporting poor business ethics. Releasing a game in this state without a disclaimer for the bugs, wait times, etc… isn’t acceptable. The game has potential to be great. Needed more time before release. Company released it at an opportunistic time with the quarantine, and a lot of people feel like they were buying a finished product. Sad that push overs accept this as “a bad investment” or “it’s a complete game quit whining.” These folks probably don’t have a lot of money sense.

My girlfriend would probably agree with you on that. …honey.

Did your girlfriend buy you this steamy turd of a game?

it was my own turd to spend. So i spent it.

I have read all the comments and I repeat this is not about “I don’t like the game I want my money”
This is a guide to get a refund in case Epic Store doesn’t want to take responsibility for.

  1. Content paid but not received.
  2. Multiplatform problems.
  3. You have contacted Epic support and they do not provide an answer or solution to your problem.
  4. Epic is aware of the problems but they back up their abusive policy.
  5. Epic store denies you a refund. "He has played more than 2 hours to the title

If you have problems like this you can try to find a solution with this guide always respecting the main steps, contact Epic first and look for a solution. This is only as a last resort and is clearly for consumers who have had these problems.

If you want a refund because you simply don’t like the game, then you shouldn’t follow these steps.
There are extraordinary cases and situations that can occur but again I am against requesting a refund because a product you do not like or is not according to what you expected, if you can refund following the policies it would be appropriate, I repeat this is for those who REALLY have had some kind of mentioned problem.

Poor business ethics? Jesus, that’s a bit overdramatic, lmao. No one could ever provide a timeframe for bug fixes, nor should they. No dev ever does that. It would put a stressful target on them and their team. They’ve put out 3 patches in less than two weeks. I think that’s proof that they’re actively grinding and from home no less. Opinions are opinions, but this game is far from “broken”, it can be played, it’s just not perfect. But then again, what multiplayer online games really are?

If you bought this game, you knew what you went in for, if you can get a refund then all is well.
Illfonic has done this with F13th, you people should of known already.

I can’t believe anyone would actually say that this is a complete game. 3 maps?? I’ve played free itchio games that have more than that. I think this game has potential but don’t try to tell me that this is a finished game when we have a free content update announced upon launch. That is proof that we didn’t get it all yet.

LMfAO masteerkeef42o , Listen. This isn’t Anthem (a poor attempt at a full blown AAA single player game) a multiplayer game that is horribly under priced yet has the massive scope in which midgets expect of themselves. If you’re ass whipped or ass hurt because you spent more than you’d expect. Listen I Payed 10 bucks for Uncharted 4. 1/6th than PHG. I think the developers at Illfonic deserve a massive amount of respect for committing to expectations and still had a massive amount of debt to pay for a licensed franchise. I’ve followed franchises…the fan-base is violent, toxic and conniving like a bitch in heat.

CONNIVING LIKE A BITCH IN HEAT ROFL sir
i am genuinely smiling form this its so True Fanbases can be the worst

I was really confused cause they quote showed me saying that and I was like, “wat”

I’ve been there since AVP (the PC game–its like having sex with a chicken wing…it’s only good when it’s deep fried!) …its the worst.

I’m not saying I’m gonna seek a refund or even quit playing or any of that bullshit. I’m just saying that this isn’t a complete game since people are claiming it is. It’s very small right now.

This game will not succeed FT13 half ass effort unfortunately, or it will get to tough for them and they will abandon it…
