I stopped playing like 3 months ago but last night was bored so i thought id check out some twitch streams as i still love the concept of the game. But you know the game is dead when you go to the phg category, and there are only 3 streams with a TOTAL of 11 viewers… That folks is one dead game. You blew it illfonic… you had the fanbase, you had soooo much potential for an absolute fantastic game but you blew it.
I also want to say isnt it odd how illfonic never responds to ANYTHING on their own forums with the exception of their own patch note threads… They announce info and upcoming dlc’s on other media outlets but never ever here in their own forums… You blew it like a hooker needing quick cash…

Yeah I’m the biggest predator fan I personally know. Like people and friends know me as the giant predator fan. And I stopped playing this game awhile ago lol. Like I love predator so much and it’s really not even the lack of content (WHICH THERE IS) its how shitty the game runs. Constant bugs and terrible collision plague this game

It doesn’t seem dead to me when the dang Q time is so long like I have to wait 7-10 mins to play a Predator and it’s not even guaranteed but when I do I have hell of a fun time, makes me appreciate the hunt and take my time instead of rushing like everybody else…or those sadists who slowly torture their hunt lol

It’s dead. I find myself going days at a time without playing it. I was playing it religiously for hours a day. I agree with the lack of hype, lack of content. I get on here just to check and see if anything has dropped that might make it more interesting. I was playing to open crates to hopefully unlock trophies but never got any and grew tired of that grind too. After level 150 it’s all just kinda meh. This had so much potential to be a awesome game. Maybe the alien game that is in development will be good.

Gotta love the people who will defend illfonic to the bitter disappointing end. I couldn’t wait for this game to come out and I’m a huge predator fan but I hardly even log into the game at this point. The final straw for me was the addition of the new cod mode with a little predator thrown in to make the name of the game not a lie. I’ll come back to the game when it actually becomes predator hunting grounds not fire team hunting grounds.

This is probabily the most disappointment for me, they just ingnored the forum and like one day they come there and answer to some posts but only for one day. I know that at the start , first 2 months the forum was a jungle cause game was so unbalanced and people had different opinions. But for example after 2.0 most of people agreed that fireteam was in huge advantage and they did nothing for one month. The only reason I still play is because I have around 30 active people to playing with in private matches (even if the ping sometimes is shit because we dont have dedicated servers, that is one more huge disappointment). I just wait for the next patch to see if more people will come back for an upcoming 2 vs 6/8 or a xenomorph mode. When Guily Gear Strive will come out I almost sure I will stop play this game. A fucking good fighting with a good rollback netcode finally.

I stopped playing this game a while ago now( I still check the forums tho for any updates/news), but I will come back to play if they hopefully release some kind of 3 pred vs 12 FT hunt mode. Would love to coop with other preds to take on a fire team.

Is twitch streaming the judgement of games now? I mean I’m not into streaming personally but I feel it would be difficult to watch a stream while playing the game

Its not the only judgement but on a platform like video games - its a good way to see how popular you are at the moment.
With the ease of use in PS4 streaming is fucking easy. Tons of people do it whether or not you do it. Its the popular thing for the video game platform.
Between youtube and twitch if your stream numbers are low, thats not a misrepresentation either.
This game was never going to be a sleeper hit. It was never going to the next big killer app. Predator franchise doesn’t carry that appeal anymore. Its not the 90s anymore.
What it could’ve and should’ve been is a cult classic hit.
It missed the ball on that.
Why and how? Thats for everyone to discuss.
^^^ this! 10 times over. I want to love this game so bad. I have never been a member of a video game forum, ever. That’s how much I wanted to love this game. It’s losing its appeal fast. It has/had the potential to be awesome. They even had the chance to make more money with add ons and DLC but I’m afraid it’s going belly up faster than they can retain or gain players.

It’s not a good game to stream… Stream as Pred? Your stream is going to be 75% queuing; stream as FT? Stream is going to be 50% trying to get a full lobby…
