I’m really enjoying the game. More than ever in fact. And that’s playing both sides. The new stuff has really spiced it up and opened up new possibilities. The only thing I really don’t like is the ball punching nerf to the traps. But overall, great job 👍

Yeah I’m having a blast with the new stuff, if my internet will allow fun.
I mainly play Assault and Berserker. I’m loving the new Adrenal Boost and Large Pouch upgrades.
I’ve been lucky I’ve only experienced the ADS combistick bug once (so far) out of a dozen games and I haven’t crashed. Not once. Wait times are better and I’m hyped for Dutch Tmw! Provided my games go as smooth as they have been
I’m fine with the trap nerf. It was frustrating making it all the way to reinforcements just to find out it’s littered with indestructible traps that forced you to activate them to make it past. By the time you’re about to get out of the first one, the pred just got an easy final kill.
Yeah I’ve had that happen when I’m playing FT. Can be annoying. But my thought is…maybe everyone shouldn’t have died 🤷♀️😅
traps are for shitty preds who need a standing still target so they can actually nail a shot

OK, I did literally lol there. The other fun part about indestructible bear traps is that they could basically form bullet proof barriers (albeit very small ones) with very specific placement.
I must say, the traps can still be very effective. They’re harder to see and, if you use large pouch, you can cover a lot of area with 7 traps.
It’s not always about the need to stand still. They help cover escape for pred when needed, they limit FTs topographical maneuverability (exits/enterences from the building), they can be used as bait. They can help separate the FT. All of that buys time for pred
Then why not address that? Stop the bubble from being bullet proof while keeping traps themselves active 🤔
Again, I don’t make decisions on balance, but for me as Fireteam, the current beartrap behavior feels more “fair”.

They’re not supposed to be like that tho right? Like destroy able after deployment? I thought it was just that one second before they activate.
I thought that was the case too
After they capture an ft, they can’t be destroyed, so that interacting is how you escape. Otherwise, you could just shoot somebody out of the trap.
