Your Perfect Build and Strat?

Im curious to see how many different types of tactics exist.
Calling all Predator Mains.
And, Elite hoomans.
Show off a little.
What is your perfect hunting build and tactic for killing prey?

Example:

My Dto-sain’ja is a Scout.
With Protection, Impenetrable, and Height Advantage.
A bullet sponge, but only while in trees.
Using only a Plasma Caster, and The Wristblade.
The moment Dto is on the ground, complete glass cannon.

The strat.
Stay heigh, move quick, shoot fast.
If any Ft single member tries to run alone.
Elimnate using Wristblade only.
And, then return to the pack.
Repeat untill there is one left.

The only problem. I have ran into.
Is people actually scattered around the map.

Ive caught at least 2 Ft members just hiding behind rocks in the corner of the map to often.

So lets see some friendly flexing.
Your best hunts?

I Hunt methodically, stalking… And wait for mistakes… They always make mistake… Then i hit… I place traps… Trapper perk… Use net gun… And i like the fast hand perk…its change weapon to slow for my standards… Something like this…ohh and i scare them… You know, mimicry… Play with them…

Class: Hunter

Weapons:

  • Hand held plasma caster ( use this to snipe some people form a tree dont need to charge it up and no lazzer pointing at them to let players know where you are. also doesnt use your power bar)

  • Combistick ( for quick heavy damage if needed plus its the best melee weapon dont @ me)

:Perks

  • observant ( no sneaking allowed)

  • Large pouch ( i like stuffs)

  • impenetrable ( dying fast isnt fun )

:Gear

  • Healing kit ( you need it )

Hahaha hopefully you meet me, i always love to play that mindplay strategy where i just use audio decoys and then i use mimicry wheel which just feels amazing when they look around not knowing shit

If I ever get a solid Ft, you bet.

But im a Predator main, its hard to mingle with the hoomans. Plus im really bad Ft member. Gittery as hell, so probably wouldnt make worthy prey sadly.

Scout

Currently:
Pistol
Net Gun

Gear:
Healing kit
Motion detectors

Currently:
Impenetrable
Adrenal Boost
Cooling Syncs

My usual strategy is to first locate the reinforment radio and destroy any goodies around that as well as place a Motion detector.

Then I move around the map and try to determine where the objectives are (look for glowing boxes and such).

Then I try to locate the FT by sound & environmental clues. I save target isolation for pigs or if I get into a pinch for time.

Then I play as normal, as the behavior of the FT will greatly determine what I can or cannot do from there.

Usually this involves picking at them with the Pistol to see what they do, who is the Rambo, who is not, etc.

Hunter 87

Combistick
Bow
Healing kit
Bear traps
Dithered Lens
Modified Reserve
Down Range

Objective one: find the reinforcements radio. Lay traps.

Objective two: kill boars if found.

Objective three: locate Fire Team. Stalk and then once located, pressure with Plasma Cannon. Usually the first shot should be fully charged on one FT member. Move about to keep them guessing and interchange from Castor to Bow. I never go to combistick unless the tactics need to be switched up. Usually it’s thrown and then picked up almost immediately afterwards. Keeping the pressure on keeps them frantic. Once I down one, I kill them without getting the trophy. That usually leads to FT’s splitting up some for Objectives, some for reinforcement.

Class: Hunter

Weapons:

  • Bow for the stheal and his damage (two shot one FT DOWN)
  • Elder sword (for finish little team of two perfect for counter knive as the animation is not parried by the damn knives

:Perks

  • laser less visible (yes i don’t rememer the english name.)
  • more damage from afar ( hell yeah same here )
  • impenetrable ( fuck dying so quickly because of a retarded sniper )

:Gear

  • Healing kit ( you need it )
  • Bear traps ( for life )

Start : oberseve the FT coming prepare their pass with 3 bears trap, enjoy the show of the3 first down.

Expect when you face a random team of FT who work together and have two rangers and two dutch, the two rangers randomly spam the tree with the spot for find and the two ductch charge you, aint fun and thathappened 5 minutes ago, i didn’t lose tho and even wiped out 3 pf them, unfortunetly reinforcement+ quick evacuation was prob. :c

Class: Hunter

Weapons:
Yautja bow and handheld plasma caster

Perks:
Large pouch, adrenal boost, impenetrable

Gear:
Healing kit, motion detectors

Strategy 1:
If I’m facing a team of PS4 players, I’ll jump to the opposite side of the map and then use target isolation. Once I find them, I use the bow or hand held plasma caster to wipe them out.

Strategy 2:
If the fireteam proves to be tough in the first encounter, I’ll just claim one of them and leave to go heal. Then I’ll reengage or go find them when they call for reinforcements. After I find them, I wait and shoot arrows at them. After downing one of them, I use him as bait and kill the guy that tries to revive him. Then I just wipe out the two remaining team members.

  • The Elder Sword is my main damage dealer. It dealt the most damage out of the Predator melee weapons in patch 1.06 and Illfonic buffed it in patch 1.08. The full combo is enough to kill any FT member, even with Thick Skin. It also doesn’t use as much stamina as the Combi Stick, so I can jump in, start swinging, and leap out after doing some big damage without the risk of getting chased down in Second Wind.

  • The Net Gun helps with crowd control, high damage guns up close, and knifers. Having one person unable to fight back can make a huge difference, especially for someone like me who prefers melee combat over staying at range the entire game.

  • Healing kit allows me to heal without traversing the entire map and can be my only method of healing if the boar spawns mess up. The motion detector tells me exactly where I need to position myself, and I often forget about the audio decoy but it can trick the FT into going to an unfavorable position (for them at least).

  • Impenetrable helps me stay in the fight for longer and makes those pesky snipers less annoying. Fearless turns me into a Berserker with slightly lower health but more stamina, energy, and melee damage (I would love to see some numbers comparing a base Berserker with a Hunter running Impenetrable and Fearless as of patch 1.09). The extra gear from Large Pouch can really come in handy. I’ve won matches because of that third healing kit.

  • Yes, Dutch looks like a Pokémon trainer. Gotta kill 'em all. Also, his knife looks much cooler than the standard one.

  • Not only is the Hammerhead Dutch’s weapon in the movie, but it has good stats and a grenade launcher. I mainly use this on the Predator. It only sees action against AI units when we’re at the chopper and I have ammo to spare or I see one of those Juggernaut soldiers and my Z-O6 is low on ammo.

  • While the Z-O6 has a slower fire rate than the ZR-55, it does more damage. It helps when I’m fighting tougher AI units. I mainly use this against AI.

  • The field syrette is really helpful when I’m being swarmed by AI and the Predator is somewhere close by, waiting to strike. I also use it if the Predator’s focusing me and I have a moment to breathe. Frags are helpful in punishing a Predator going for a claim at a bad time and if I know I’m about to go down, I can throw them at my feet to guarantee big damage. Unfortunately, the flashbang is kinda just there to be there. I don’t really see a need for it.

  • Double Time is there to help me get to objectives and downed teammates quicker, as well as run from or to the Predator if necessary (I tend to let the Predator escape and finish the objectives unless the rest of the team wants to go for the kill). Quick Release is so I can get back to shooting quicker (although I’ve been thinking about replacing it with the gear increase perk if I have enough points), and Thick Skin is a useful perk in general. More health is always a good thing and it means that I can fight the Predator for longer as well as not have to worry about the AI that much (until we start getting swarmed by them).

Yeah I like to run the Elder sword 2. But mainly use wrist blades cuz it does the most damage. Combi stick not worth using unless you just going to throw it or run down range. In combo it with the bow. But sweeping into sweeping out as a really good tactic keep hitting them just be fast make them run out of meds in their ammo you can keep them in one area situated they’ll run out you can end it there. But I don’t like to be a petty player but I will be if a fireteam member or any of them are camping inside of the building and don’t want to come out I’m going to Grand Slam on top of it I don’t care what anybody says you can pout leave the game while you camping in there for.

But I run
Zerker.with adrenal boost
Impenetrable
Branch master
With. Elder sword an bow

        My hunter build is.
              Down range
                Impenetrable
                 Fearless.

                   Bow. Combi

Ya thats good… slam reset works well off angles terrian… compounds steep rocks etc. Im loving suppt class right now.
Issues with gameplay i have…
Ps4 is outclassed by high level predator due to mouse and keyboard. Right now game is balanced. One wrong move for pred or ft can sway the match. With boars readily available and 2 suppts plus kits around the map… the game is pretty balanced
