They might not be hacking, but there are a few ways that they can exploit with graphics and inputs.
There is ZERO reason to leave crossplay on, if you’re playing on console.

Thats the thing I never said they were definitely hackers , I said I think I played against hackers . I have it on for a challenge , but when they spot you 10 times in 10 seconds and know exactly where you are and bullets ping off the rock you’re behind? After leaping half way across the map? Why would they shoot a rock?

They spot easily because they can use a macro to start every “fire” input with the “spot” input, so they are literally spotting every time they shoot at you.
They shoot at the rock you’re behind, because they have their draw distance set to low (probably all graphics set to low). They don’t see the rock on their screen, just you, but the rock still interacts with their bullets.

I’ve been playing fireteam recently and I’ve got pretty decent hearing, I can 100% confirm that a careless Predator running around in cloak with no audio decoys is not as invisible as they think

It was the same last night , again against pc players , I was standing completely still for 10+ seconds and they start to light me up ? The audio is a good indicator I know , but I threw audio decoys over the camp . Firing rockets directly at me and hitting everytime , they knew what rocks I was behind when completely stealth . There will be good players but it is only pc players that can see you anywhere at anytime
I was told that macros, scripts, low graphics etc. is standard on PC. So anyone who calls those players cheaters should STFU! Because on PC cheating is not cheating.

The audio is spot on in this game , its practically radar with headphones on , I play mostly fireteam so I know that

Mate you can literally put on wall hacks by simply changing a couple of lines of code , a two minute search shows you how to do this . Not all pc players do these things but when they are quick to jump and say its not hacking? How the fuck do they know 😄
That sounds suspicious, but maybe you were bleeding or they just made a good guess. I don’t know, I’ve never seen or heard of any legitimate ways to hack the game, but anything is possible when it comes to programming, I suppose.

I know, I am software engineer. My post was irony. I had endless discussion whit them and it ended up that there is no single line about macros in end user licence agreement so they are allowed to use all possible aids available on PC. I asked Illfonic if they can confirm macros are OK in this game but they ignored my question.

Even if I was bleeding (which i wasnt) , I was either on a roof or high up and just behind a rock . If you get within a certain distance you get constantly pinged and direct shots , there was even one point where I was on the roof above them and getting blasted through the ceiling , there were 2 people and I’m certain they were both inside the building

It is legit. That part of code is only to lookup proper objects to highlight. To make it work you need more of code around it, but that code is common.

Of course they did , their game is so basic the code is easy to change from what I have seen . Even if they did want to ban these techniques, the way its put into the games code it gets past the anticheat, most aimbots if you look actually state they are undetectable and give guides to get past anticheat on their sites
Aimbot is apparently very simple to implement aswell , from what I seen anyway
