I have modded a few pc games for offline play , so I know alot of it is as simple as opening text files and changing the code and saving/replacing the file . Its pretty basic if you know the basics

Its pretty under the radar from what I’ve looked at , its practically in the games code so the anticheat accepts it as the games code , there’s aimbot techniques that work on most games , there’s alot if you search enough and they all state its undetectable , with the shit optimization in this game you wouldn’t need these things , the graphics issue is apparently patched, but I’ve no idea as I play on console
To be honest how often you play against such players? Once per 10 games? Probably even less often. So easiest way how to play against them is to quit lobby if you recognize their names. You will not be first who would do that. They are having almost same time as predator players to get into game as fireteam because a lot of people. Sometimes they change their names, but because there is like 20 of them, they become known again soon.

These type of things have been around for over a decade. They still can’t prevent this with anti cheat tech. That seems ridiculous.

I’ve only had two pc player matches over the last two days , and both were as I described . I dont like to turn it off as some of them are actually cool , and it can speed up the matchmaking . I just find it odd these issues only happen when crossplay is on
One in ten games would really piss me off.

You can detect some changes, however there are many techniques how to hide your cheats against detection. For example those “DirectX chams” mentioned by @Arnie.schwarzewigger do not interact with game code in any way. They are interacting with library which game engine uses to communicate with graphics card. Anti cheat in this game is mostly against stealing this game rather than detecting/avoiding cheats.

It’s still sad that people think we / PC players cheat. The hitboxes are buggy, the weapons are hit scan. Spotting with recon and tracker is 9sec wallhack. We dont need to hack man…

Do you think you are the only pc players with this game? Hacks are possible and there even video proof from others ,this game isn’t the holy grail and you guys certainly aren’t the voices or faces for an entire pc community

nah if you know how to read you could see that on the pages of those “hacks” that they personaly EXPLAIN IN CAPITAL LETTERS that their so called hack only work in the tutorial. and yes i was curious enough to check if those hacks where real and guess what, so far they are not
