Zen Art Of Motorcycle Maintenance:PHG

So everyone knows the zen and art of modifying your loadout is what makes some games worth playing. Was this ever a thing for Fireteam? or are we still really really wanting this to be a predator thing?
Or maybe its only partially a thing and never got where it ever needed to be.
Should it be?
or is it more about cosmetics?

Because the more you get into the weeds of these things, you’d basically have to imagine playing The Division 2 and imagine for some reason a Predator jumps in and slaughters everyone on the screen. So i mean D2 is a hell of alot of loadout work, but i think really PHG needs just wierd ass gory gameplay…not so much looking deep into Critical Hit chances and shit like that.

But maybe how you can modify your weapon to kill in more crazy cool ways.
I think FT was going places with the new plasma weapons. Its just lack of development.

It’s both

Both roles should be able to go further into load out customization

Take FT for instance

We should be able to select different armors/helmets and equipment/ammo pouches and it should be a tradeoff between movement speed/stamina etc

Also there needs to be more cosmetics

so its not about weapons…its more about primal mobility.
To put it correctly the Fireteam shouldn’t be that much disadvantaged by mobility because thats a major problem in the keyboard/mouse vs controller debate.

There is a problem with the fact that Predators movement isn’t comparable to FT at all making the battle field against 1 enemy an abstraction and the rest of the canon fodder a joke.

No it’s about the weapons too

I think the devs have a real problem on their hands because the more they boast on this version of the game, we will be seeing fireteam knives becoming 1v1 with predator more comparable. That is, they will be giving FT bigger knives.
I’m not sure if the joke is alive here.
but there are fantasy elements at play and i think they will make it comical and cartoony rather than realistic i fear.
Its became who has the bigger knife now rather than how to deal with an Alien scenerio.
UNLESS gameplay mechanics play a more important role.
Mud…foliage…natural decoys…
Assigned goals…
I mean we never really had hostages to save at all!
and what if Saving a hostage had its own Ability trait that you could upgrade and enhance?
and what if mudding up had its own ability trait that you could upgrade…without it being a special class?
I mean you have classes and you have dlcs with hardcoded perks…but what if there was a major mechanical upgrade trait that you needed to ,say, excercise 10000 special XP points…or something to get.

By spreading the abilities you can further change the gameplay field. Making new gameplay goals and improving the FT chances of success in doing them faster.
I mean the turning of wheel valves are becoming so boring, why not change that by creating a specialist who does just that but faster?

Why not have FT specialists who can permanantly alter the terrain with EMP radiation mines?

or permanently modify the termperature of a given block of the map like on the fly?

What if you actually had to BUILD the plasma rifle from scratch? Like upgrade it component by component? rather than be given that shit right off the bat? You can literally make 5 separate map versions that allow you to collect 5 different components to build that weapon! Prolonging that journey!

And allow it to have 3 different versions where you need to complete it on different difficulties of those maps (which we currently DO NOT HAVE). We don’t have EASY/MEDIUM/HARD DIFFICULTIES. By that i mean map objectives could be doubled or tripled! You know what i’m talking about bitches?

mass knows!
