zerk and combi vs FT

any tips? :) for FT

For both sides or which one?

for FT sry didnt mention

I’m not an expert by any means I just wanted to get clarification for people who are.

Just listing off a few things that people have posted is
Parry is crucial
And Positioning.

elaborate lol, for parry its simple but positioning?

oh yeah also with net gun damn , what i suppose to do?

One with knife + parry (tank). One with Grenade Launcher/2XL and the rest shotgun. And of course, don’t stay too close to each other ;-).

And maybe someone with a minigun(SR3D) instead of 2XL/shotgun.

Being spread out enough where LoS is available but you’re all not getting mauled.

I solo queue as Support with the LMG and Yautja Bane. If the Zerk rushes me I’m screwed unless I get a couple lucky parries (still struggling with the timing) but if it goes for a nearby ally I can shred the beast in a single clip. Aiming can be tough when they’re staying mobile and teammates block los, but it’s definitely not safe to just rush us.

With the netgun your options are
knife it midflight
Stay still and spam the release button I heard moving around makes it harder.
Your teammates can also cut you free from it as well.
Strafing might actually help just an idea I came up with right now hasn’t been tested.
If you get netted you’re highly likely to get downed.
There may be other options but that’s all I can think of right now.

Have one person parry whilst the team shoot the Predator. You have time between parries to pop your heal off as well to make the Predator attack you longer.

Best weapon against Zerks I have found is the LMG. If a Pred is attack a player LMG will melt them. If he is going to attack you you can deal decent damage to him before he downs you. If a Pred downs someone and is taking their skull lay into him with the LMG and 90% of the time the Zerk will go into second wind. I have killed so many Predators because they have gone all in on killing just one guy whilst the entire time I am shooting him with my LMG.

Things get awkward when a netgun is in play. I just stand still and spam the button to break out as quickly as possible.

Take this advice ;-)

ok SO first Scar, LMG, AK, the first AR, vector the last SMG, and the double barrel shotgun use extended mag on all of them each of these weapons can down the zerker predator in one clip or at least in 11 seconds if you are a fireteam these are the only weapons you should be using unless your a sniper god the barret 50 (last sniper) and the bolt action are both fine at taking off the preds mask in around 2-4 shots the minigun is overrated but is really good in close range as another option instead of the double barrel the auto shotty and magnum are memey with the scout but not terrible it’s just other primary weapons/secondary weapons do their job better
with these weapons you now have the capability to downs zerker in one clip or in 11 seconds or less assuming your pretty accurate

2nd you have to know how to parry with the autos above it takes 2 parries to kill any predator in the game

3rd you should be using either the assault or support classes in all cases unless your going to meme with scout + magnum or + double barrel shotgun never have more than 1 recon per team you only need one spotting machine assaualt is strictly worse than support you will never need the hip fire accuracy and + revive speed could be useful but most of the time if someone is downed unless they crawl behind something it’s not worth trying to revive them the xtra perk points is fine as said in 4

4th you should only be using perks that increase your dmg to the predator or increase melee dmg and hp up it’s more valuble than the dmg reduction but dmg reduction is fine too and then for any low perk you should always be picking reduced recoil reduction or for 1 cost ADS movement speed increase

5th Gear you should always be taking medkits on every single class you use or syrnges if you can’t afford it

if you are support you should take both if your in a premade 1 person should have ammo bags and whoever is recon/scout should be running audio decoys + thermal distractions every other item isn’t usually worth using unless all these items are being used by someone it’ s best to have 2 medkits per fireteam so 2 supports are the best usually per team

6th communicate with you team if you have a mic if the predator leaves then come back without you hearing the roar that means he found pigs next time you make him run chase him if you find his pig stash is near obj camp it lots of em are closer than you think have 2 people in each location

7th reinforcements 3 people means all in go their 2 people should split up you can be mudded for the entire game if you keep an eye on it rendering isolation worthless for pred if your all running silencers which you shuold be it has no downside unless the predator gets lucky on which camp he is looking at he will never find you until extraction

an 8th thing i just thought of if your fighting a predator who killed 2 people and he left whether healing or not you should immediately mud up and get out of the obj your in and wait for reinforce mission and head to it cause if he comes back he will probably wipe the 2 of you once reinforce starts he is alerted and you should immediately leave the local area not too far so you can sprint back to help your friends when they spawn but far enough that pred doesn’t kill you before they spawn

this is all you need to know to be successful as a fireteam even against other pred varients not just zerker combi do to raw dmg output you have access too

My main FT build is Support for the extra HP with LMG/ CS-12 and Yautjas bane and I just hope that I’ve got a decent team with me that keeps an eye out when one of us gets attacked. Decent parrying is crucial and just hope that your teammates are nearby to rain fire on the Pred. After one or 2 parrys the Pred will usually panic and bail.
I usually try my best to never leave 1 FT member on their own (even if they randomly run off in another direction) otherwise we’ll just get picked off 1 by 1.

Spot him,mark him

Hear footsteps and bring in LMG

if he gets super close try parry but always keep the line of sight of him

and also chase him down if he gets badly damaged, tho dont push too far if you lose sight or audio of him then run back

also mark where footsteps are coming so that your team knows where hes coming from

Its very simple. Have if he’s combi, someone parry and the rest unload. If he nets and wristblades, don’t move, try to break free, and the rest unload. If he nets and stops to pull out the combi, someone should knife you to break free, and then unload.

I should mention that these work when you are all close to each other, like out of combi range, but close enough your bullets won’t miss.
